Mamanuca Islands, Western Division, Fiji
A gem of the famed Mamanuca Island archipelago, Malolo Island Resort offers a relaxed, boutique-style stay for you and your wedding guests.
Your Wedding
Most couples opt for a beach ceremony, though there are other options, such as getting married on the jetty, beside the pool, or in the tropical gardens. Receptions at the Treetops Restaurant offer an open-air setting with views of the tropical gardens and pool from the upper deck. Depending on the size of your group, you can seat everyone indoors, out, or strewn throughout both.
The property lends itself well to a destination wedding planned over multiple days, as there are enough event spaces to host a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding, and brunch in different areas of the resort. If you’d like to have the place to yourselves, exclusive resort use may be an option, depending on your group size.
Your Stay
Malolo Island Resort is a beautiful property in the Mamanuca Islands, overlooking sparkling blue water. It is a lovely, boutique-style property with just 46 rooms spread across the grounds. With a mix of thatched-roof restaurants and colonial duplexes and single-story bungalows, the architecture at this property feels almost like a place you’d spot in the Bahamas.
Additional Highlights
I can't praise Malolo Island enough. We took a long shot and picked a hotel that looked fabulous online and affordable with a location that looked perfect for our wedding. Malolo's services right throughout the whole process was second to none. They were responsive and catered to my every need and want.
We are still on cloud 9 after getting married there last March! It truly was a trip of lifetime for us, we travelled with our 3 kids, aged 1, 9 and 12 at the time of travel. From the moment we stepped off the boat onto the wharf, we were smitten. Everyone who works there was absolutely beautiful, from the cleaners, the maintenance crew, the Treehouse staff, our babysitter, the office staff, managers, the kitchen staff, the chefs!!! As for the wedding on the beach, we loved it. It was a sunset ceremony, and the Pastor was wonderful... I would highly recommend going here for a wedding, we had a very small congregation with a dinner in Treetops that night and it was perfect. I was nervous about my dad coming as he is short tempered and very fussy (ex chef) about his food!! He was extremely impressed! We were gobsmacked with his reaction as he has often told people what he thinks of their substandard food and he was practically the 1st one at the treetops doors most nights! The bar food menu was also great too. We are itching to get back to Malolo and we won't bother staying anywhere else. Bravo!!!!
I was at Malolo for my daughter’s wedding and can’t describe how amazing, professional and helpful people were! My special thank you to the staff for making my daughter’s wedding a memorable one!
