What couples love most about weddings at Capella Ubud is that you can easily buy out the property if you’ve got about 35-40 guests, giving you exclusive use of the entire resort for your destination wedding in Bali’s gorgeous tropical jungles. For your ceremony, you’ll probably want to set up shop on the deck overlooking palms, banana leaf trees, and extensive jungle terrain. Follow that up with cocktails, dinner, and dancing outdoors with the canopy of trees overhead, and you’ve got yourself a dream scenario.
Your Stay
Capella Ubud has 23 one- and two-bedroom tented villas, each styled individually with a collection of local antiques and beautiful artifacts. It’s like walking into a mini museum when you arrive at your tent. Each villa has a pool, rainshower, and copper bathtub. There’s an overall feeling of being at summer camp with friends and family, but if summer camp included someone else doing your laundry, delivering food and drinks to your room 24/7, and cleaning up after you daily.
The property is located in the heart of Ubud and genuinely focuses on celebrating and experiencing local culture. Upon arrival, you and your guests are offered various ways to connect with the community, whether through exploring the local art scene, enjoying a culinary journey through Bali, or hiking through jungles and rice paddies.
