We’ve seen plenty of animals hitting the wedding scene recently. Having your pets at your weddings has become a hugely popular way to celebrate, while there are more niche animals like alpacas that you can hire out for your wedding day and wedding day photos.
But one trend that hits close to our hearts here in Australia is the rise of the wedding cow.
This is one moovement (sorry) that has been building up for a while and is starting to get into full swing.
While couples who were getting married on their own properties or on a family farm have often used bovine backdrops (sorry again) for their big day, more and more wedding venues are offering an encounter with the locals to make your wedding day that much more special.
Wedding cows are also highly accessible in Australia, being a very popular choice across hobby farms and dairy farms and farm wedding venues to give you a great range of choice when it comes to your venue still.
Cows themselves have had an image makeover over the last few years, with Instagram accounts such as Happy Hens and Highlands and Moochi The Mini Cow gaining massive followings and proving once and for all that cows are just big farm puppies.
But when it comes to weddings a wedding cow could be just what you need to finish off your photo shoot and giving you something a bit different to remember. Cows are extremely affectionate and will be more than happy to help you out on your big day. You can still get those romantic one-on-one shots in the field, but also get something a little bit different and have a little bit more fun.
They say to never work with children or animals because you never know what’s going to happen, so what better way to celebrate your wedding day than by getting some candid shots in the field while the sun sets?
So what are you waiting for? Find a venue and get (sorry) moooooving!
