Nikki and Jordan win $2,500 for their Collingwood Childrens’ Farm wedding

Melbourne couple Nikki and Jordan are the latest winners of our Wedding Cash Giveaway, receiving $2,500 to put towards their Pacific Islands honeymoon.

The pair said ‘I do’ at Collingwood Childrens’ Farm on 14 December, 2024.

They chose the beloved city farm for its rustic, relaxed vibes, close to home. “We didn’t want our venue to feel like a busy place,” says Nikki. “The staff were absolutely incredible and it was absolutely beautiful.”

In addition to booking their venue on Easy Weddings, which earned them multiple entries into the quarterly $2,500 cash giveaway, the pair also found their celebrant, florist, photographer, and wedding gown in our vendor marketplace.

Rita Doherty Celebrant crafted a personalised ceremony that “reflected our relationship perfectly,” says Nikki. “From the day we booked her to our special day, she made sure we were at ease and comfortable.” The pair exchanged vows with Rita’s guidance under a huge gum tree on the property.

Thrive Flowers & Events arranged vibrant native bouquets and buttonholes for the wedding party of eight, fitting for the rustic theme. “Our flowers were nothing I could have ever imagined,” praises the bride.

Nikki’s visit to Fairytale Bridal Boutique was an enjoyable and successful experience. “The staff were really welcoming, supportive, and helpful. It was the first place I went to but the last dress I tried on!” says Nikki.

Cheng and Kez of Veri Photography captured the couple’s farm wedding from start to finish and the couple are thrilled with the results. “The photos are amazing, and the hard part now is choosing our favourites.”

With a Fiji and Cook Islands honeymoon still on the calendar for June this year, the only thing left for Nikki and Jordan to decide is — how will they spend our $2,500 prize money?
