Not sure where to begin with wedding planning? Well- you’re going to need a wedding budget calculator– and a clue. Here’s the ultimate guide to the wedding budget calculator on Easy Weddings, and some helpful tips on how to plan your wedding budget.
So, you’re got engaged, and now people are asking the inevitable- when is the wedding? What is the venue? What does your dress look like? After you take a moment to breathe and enjoy your euphoria- one of the most important things you can do is nail down your budget. How much do you want to spend on this (huge) day? Will you have help from any family members? Or will you and your spouse-to-be pay for all of the little details of your wedding day? Firstly, that’s the most important thing to discuss and figure out. You need to know how much this day means to both of you- and what is that day worth. It might pay to overestimate some of the costs because you may forget to include minor details that aren’t immediately obvious, like postage stamps and dress alterations.

Be sure to discuss your most necessary items. What would you be willing to spend the most money on, what do you NEED at your wedding? For me, it was Videography, Venue, an amazing dress, and donuts! For you- it might be the 5 tier cake and an epic DJ. Be sure to discuss these things with your partner and get a list together. This means that you know the areas where you are willing to spend a little more, and where you may want to cut a little bit out of your budget.
