We recently caught up with the wonderful team at Tiffany’s Maleny to get the inside scoop on what weddings are like at this beautiful Sunshine Coast venue. Keep reading to discover everything you need to know about hosting your special day at this stunning location.
What do couples love most about hosting their wedding at Tiffany’s Maleny?
Tiffany’s is unique in that we offer so much more than simply an empty venue to hire. We have so many amazing inclusions built-in as standard in our Collections (packages), from flowers and food to beverages and cakes!
But there is one thing that does all the hard work for us, and that is the breathtaking backdrop we have of the Glass House Mountains. You just cannot beat that iconic view for your wedding day!
Our couples always have such beautiful things to say about their experience with Tiffany’s Maleny, mainly that our service is second-to-none, and utilising the included wedding coordinators to assist our lovely couples takes so much of the stress out of planning their day.
Where do ceremonies and receptions take place at the venue?
Tiffany’s Maleny has a purpose-built, non-denominational, white wedding Chapel onsite with a stunning glass window behind the stage showcasing the sweeping Glass House Mountains.
We also offer a more relaxed Gazebo ceremony option too, for those who would prefer an outdoor wedding ceremony. And the best part is, you will always have a wet-weather backup option ready and waiting should you need it – another little bit of stress relieved by holding an outdoor wedding at Tiffany’s!
For wedding receptions, we’ve transformed our beautiful historic Queenslander into a classic, French-inspired dining space, with doors that open out onto a sprawling panoramic wraparound deck for added seating, also maximising the amazing Glass House Mountain views. We can comfortably seat up to 120 guests when using these incredible spaces together. Inside boasts a cosy fireplace, timeless chandeliers, and a fully sprung dancefloor, and is air-conditioned for the comfort of all.
We hear you offer in-house floristry and styling services — how amazing! Can you tell us more about what this includes?
Yes, our in-house floral design team are amazing at bringing our couple’s visions to life! We include so many amazing floral and styling options in our Collections that are customisable to our couple’s colour palettes and wedding themes.
The majority of our Collections include floral centrepieces for the tables, flower arrangements by the window in the chapel and rose petals for the aisle, and even bouquets and buttonholes! And there is always the option for even more floral installations to be created at our couple’s request.
Our floral design team also work as our in-house stylists and will set up any additional items our couples want to bring in, such as place cards and wedding favours. We have just invested in brand new custom-built raw timber tables that have really transformed our dining space to a level of beauty!
We also offer gorgeous flowing chiffon and gauze table runners, candle stand options, tealights, and all necessary tableware at no additional cost. Not to mention the stunning floral centrepieces which are included in most Collections! We have so many more items available as well to help create the perfect setting for the celebration.
Can you walk us through some of the beautiful photo opportunities at the venue?
After a quick scroll through our socials, you will see we aren’t short on stunning locations to take incredible wedding photos! In almost every corner of Tiffany’s, you will be able to see the magnificent mountain views we are known for. Our chapel, whether it be inside or outside, is a very popular photo opportunity for throwing rose petals – we also are seeing more and more couples escape here during the evening’s festivities for an intimate dance and photo together.
Our Photographic Deck is another location offering, which is perfect for those more formal family portraits. Our grounds are beautifully manicured and kept, so they are always photo ready. We have a sweet wooden swing with the mountainscape in the background, and in the spring and summer, it is blooming with the fresh scent of climbing Jasmine. In the garden party area, which sits alongside our Gazebo space (mostly used for hosting canapes), we have fully matured Liquid Amber and Jacaranda trees, both of which put on a seasonally spectacular show of colour!
The options are endless for couples who wish to take their photos on-site; however, Maleny and the surrounding hinterland have so many wonderful local hidden gems that photographers adore. We are in a great position, with most of these being as close as five minutes away.
Which is your most popular wedding package?
Our most popular Collection, by far, would have to be our Signature Collection. A fully inclusive, personalised fine dining option that exudes all the finer things Tiffany’s has to offer. It includes bouquets, buttonholes, floral table centrepieces, our very popular timber cross-back chairs, 6.5 hours of platinum range beverages, and cocktails for canapé hour!
The Signature Collection even includes a $2,000 credit to spend in our Shoppe Catalogue, which has everything from styling items, wedding cakes, photo wall backdrops, lighting, food and beverage upgrades, and so much more – this is in addition to all the styling and floral items we already offer free of charge! We also throw in two complimentary high tea vouchers so our couples can come and visit Tiffany’s before their big day to enjoy a delectable high tea and experience the food and service themselves beforehand.
But probably the most desirable trait of our Signature Collection would be that it includes our mouth-watering four-course menu, with the option to have your guest pre-select their meals in advance for a personalised meal service on the day. Truly the finest way to dine!
What catering options do you have?
At Tiffany’s Maleny, we have options to cater for every type of wedding imaginable! Our amazing team of chefs have created unique menus for each Collection to ensure our couples can choose their preferred way to dine on their day.
We can do grazing boards, cocktail-style roaming menus, buffets, table feasts, alternate drop and, of course, our favourite — personalised fine dining. We also offer options to include our woodfired pizzas and antipasto boards to add the perfect experience to our couple’s canapé hour.
All our produce at Tiffany’s is locally sourced, from the prawns at Mooloolaba to the cheese from Maleny, and all our meats are always free-range. We cater for all our guests’ dietary requirements separately from the couple’s menu selections and always strive to create art on a plate for every wedding we host.
