Just in case you ever wondered what it would be like to spend over $60k on a wedding cake, this is the kind of massive wedding cake you could expect for this kind of price.
The bride was transported via private jet from Moscow to Chechnya.
The cake, an eight tiered design, was for 18 year old bride Khava Zaurbekova, and her husband, Ahkmed Dzhabrailov, 20 for their wedding in Russia’s Chechen Republic. Her husband is the son of Khussein Dzhabrailov, a former vice premier of Chechnya, and his uncle is Umar Dzhabrailov, a millionaire. Last year, Umar was fined £5,800 after he shooting a pistol in the air at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The bride donned a Zuhair Murad wedding dress that weighed over 40kgs. According to tradition, the brides family is not to attend the wedding party. Alcohol was also absent from the celebration, but no money was spared on food, with caviar, sturgeon and lamb on offer for the hundreds of guests present.
