Check Out The JacksonWhat do couples love most about hosting their wedding on board The Jackson?
Being on board their own private luxury vessel in the world’s most beautiful harbour is truly an unparalleled experience that few venues on land can compete with. The Jackson offers the ultimate venue and destination in one convenient, luxurious location to host both your ceremony and reception.
Imagine your ceremony hosted in Farm Cove on the bow of Sydney’s newest and most luxurious vessel with the majestic Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the background, followed by celebratory cocktails on the elevated Mid Deck and a grand banquet reception on the grand Main Deck with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing everchanging views. Then, as night falls, party the night away with your loved ones at Sydney’s best rooftop bar. Our couples also love the private bridal suite to retreat to, catch their breath, and freshen themselves on what can be a busy day.
Which areas of the vessel are most popular for weddings?
So far, we have found our couples love having the flexibility to move between the levels for their special day. A popular option is to arrive at the Mid Deck for canapés and cocktails whilst utilising the everchanging views of Sydney Harbour as the backdrop for their photos. Guests then move to the Main Deck to be seated for dining and formalities.
Often our couples then kick off the dancing on the Mid Deck, and this is where the final memories are made for your day to remember. The outdoor deck spaces would have to be the most popular areas on board; most loved for selfies and group photos, and for others, it is a place to enjoy a wine whilst enjoying the views.
What do your bespoke wedding packages typically include?
From our experience, we have found no two weddings are the same. For that reason, we create customised packages based on the requirements of each couple.
The Jackson comes complete with a range of beautifully appointed furniture for couples to select from, including padded navy velvet lounges, beige or chocolate dining chairs or the ever-popular white tiffany chairs, as well as a range of tabletop and linen options.
We also like to include our brand new curved LED screens on each level of the vessel, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system for music and speeches. Our couples have found it a nice touch to have the LED screens to present photo collages or display their personalised invitations as a backdrop for their bridal table.
How do your experienced Wedding Event Managers assist couples in planning their wedding day?
Our experienced Event Managers come with many years of experience and will assist couples in working through the details of their wedding day, making planning a breeze.
How far in advance do you recommend booking The Jackson for a wedding?
The Jackson is Sydney’s newest superyacht-inspired vessel, so along with this comes a lot of interest in holding private events on board. Being a new venue also means that we have some last-minute availability over the coming 6-12 months, so checking in with our lovely events team should you be interested is worthwhile. Generally, we suggest booking 12 months in advance if you have a specific date in mind.

Showcasing locally sourced, high-quality Australian produce combined with mouthwatering Southeast Asian influences, The Jackson’s menu is as impressive as it is delicious and freshly prepared on board by a highly experienced team of chefs.
The style of menu you select is entirely up to you, from formal banquet-style seated dining and shared feasting menus to sophisticated cocktail affairs with canapés and elaborately presented food stations — the food will be sure to surpass your expectations and impress your wedding guests.
How many wedding guests can The Jackson accommodate?
The Jackson offers three levels with varying capacities, providing plenty of flexibility for couples to tailor the vessel to suit their vision. Weddings with 100 to 250 seated guests are best suited to The Jackson Event Deck. To give you an idea, with 150 guests on the Event Deck, we can allow for a dancefloor, bridal table and round or long tables for guests. We also have the Mid Deck, which is best suited to more intimate weddings of up to 100 guests.
