For convenience and calm on your wedding day
Hiring a mobile hair and makeup artist for your wedding day offers a host of benefits that can make your special day even more enjoyable and stress-free. One of the primary advantages is convenience: having a professional come to your location means you can avoid the hassle of travelling to a salon and instead prepare in the comfort of your own space, whether it’s your home, hotel, or wedding venue. This allows for a more relaxed and intimate environment, where you can enjoy the company of your bridal party without the rush and stress of commuting.
A world of beauty customisations awaits
With flexible packages available, clients hold the reins to their beauty journey. Mobile Make-Overs Australia ensures that every detail meets each client’s unique needs, reflecting their personality and style. Affordable adult hair and makeup packages start at just $195, welcoming everyone from brides, mums, aunts, grandmas, and flower girls to even grooms to experience their exceptional talents. And, with a team at the ready, no job is too big.
We spoke with Tallora, Owner/Operator/Artist at Mobile Make-Overs Australia, who divulged the secrets to her success: “I love what I do and have fun doing it. I’m reliable and on time, I’m an expert in my field, and I use cruelty free + ethical + professional products, which are very important to me. I [also] have a team, so large parties are not a problem.”
Crafting joy with every brush stroke
Tallora began her business because she wanted to give paying clients talented artists, and talented artists paid work. She also wanted to create a fun, vibrant, and respectful work environment for everyone.
Ticking all these boxes – and more – Tallora tells us: “My favourite part about weddings is that it’s such a fun day – and who doesn’t love working in that atmosphere? My favourite part about my job, though, is the fact I can make someone feel incredible about themselves. I can give them confidence and that gorgeous bridal glow and smile that everyone strives for. So many women don’t believe they can be beautiful and I prove them wrong. I aim to give my clients the biggest smiles.”
It’s easy to enjoy her line of work, too. “My most memorable moment was the bride’s face when she realised her proposal day was also her wedding day! I was contacted by the most organised groom I have ever met. He planned everything without his bride even knowing that she was about to get married! In fact, she was the last person to know. His plan was to propose, then go get married that very day. All their family and friends had already been invited, all the vendors were booked and paid. He even bought two sizes of the wedding dress, just in case one didn’t fit. He was very confident she would say yes… and she did. Plus, she loved the fact she didn’t have to organise anything.”
A focus on what truly matters on your wedding day
One piece of invaluable wedding advice that Tallora often shares with clients is to focus on what truly matters: “Don’t get bogged down and stressed over things that ultimately don’t matter. Never lose sight of the end goal of getting married, which is… getting married. Flowers, cake, colour themes, even the dress don’t truly matter in the grand scheme of things. I’ve seen many brides ruin their own day by freaking out over trivial stuff that really means nothing in the end.”
Oh, and ‘The Nutbush’ is a sure-fire way to get everyone on the dance floor!
