Every MAFS 2025 wedding location
Last week, the controversial “experiment” show Married at First Sight returned to our screens for its twelfth season. Love it or loathe it, the first week gifted us with spectacular weddings (and even more spectacular social interactions!). We’ve researched and found every MAFS 2025 wedding location for those who want to know.
If you’re looking for a unique venue that will be the backdrop for a lifetime of memories, this is the perfect starting point. Our extensive list, and some of the details, of MAFS 2025 wedding locations.
MAFS 2025 wedding: Lauren and Eliot
It was the wedding to kick off MAFS 2025, and it was a doozy. The trad-husband and wife Lauren and Eliot seemed aligned with the same values on the day. Their classic wedding affair was held in the iconic Sydney State Theatre, with the reception on none other than the stage itself.
Although the marriage seems to have already hit the rocks, the wedding was an affair to remember.
Carina and Paul
They might’ve had a doomed date in the past, but this Perth pairing found themselves giving love a second chance with Sydney Town Hall as the backdrop. A grand venue with high ceilings, it was a well-suited background to Carina’s divine winter wedding dress and Paul’s charming French accent.
Katie and Tim
Perhaps not the most enviable couple of this season’s MAFS, it was still an enviable wedding venue. Linnaeus House in Berry, NSW’s Southern Highlands, was the picture-perfect backdrop of rolling hills and stunning outlooks. The marriage itself? It might be best if we keep our opinions to ourselves!
Jamie and Dave
Fun with a capital F is how we’d describe the vibe of MAFS 2025 couple Jamie and Dave. The talkative Greek bride with her giant husband, coming in at 200cm, got married in none other than Sydney’s CarriageWorks. The industrial setting matched the couple’s modern vibe before the newly weds spent their honeymoon exploring the waters of Daydream Island.

Famous around the world, the Whitsundays is one of the most romantic destinations. And, it was also a place for newly weds Jamie and Dave to get acquainted. The fun-loving and light-hearted couple enjoyed the ocean from a mega yacht. Staying at Daydream Island, the wedding venue and honeymoon destination is surrounded on all sides by the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef.
Awinha and Adrian
Is there anything more romantic and dramatic than marrying a stranger with the Sydney Harbour as the backdrop? This was the reality for two sets of twins in the union of Awinha and Adrian. Deckhouse Woolwich boasts panoramic views of the harbour and was ideal for the couple to learn a little more about one another, whether that be good or bad.
The couple got to really know one another at the breathtaking Sofitel Fiji, which doubles as a wedding venue itself. From yoga to jetskis to delicious food, Sofitel Fiji has it all.

The newlyweds also enjoyed their ceremony hosted by celebrant Julia Carlino. The experienced celebrant wed the two strangers and made it feel like an intimate ceremony of a couple who’d been together for years. Julia offers more than just officiating weddings; she curates enchanting ceremonies, ensuring your love story takes centre stage.
Sierah and Billy
Straddling the line between beach and country, the wedding of Sierah and Billy was in the picturesque South Coast at Greyleigh. The farmyard meets luxury destination for accommodation and retreats, the venue was picture perfect for the pair to become smitten with one another prior to being whisked away to their snowy honeymoon.

Ashleigh and Jake
Two teachers, one shared passion in educating kids. Ashleigh and Jake got married at HostCo in the University of Sydney. Classic and historical, the venue was brought to life for the fun couple with bright flowers shaped into a beautiful grand arch.
This whimsical wedding started in the stunning garden, as Ashleigh made her way through to Jake awaiting her at the end of the aisle. The sandstone university gives a heritage feel, but modernised by the florals and carpeted aisle.
Moving through to the reception, the grand hall was elevated to a party with gold backed chairs, ornate candelabras and a bridal table that saw no surface area not covered by the gorgeous floral arrangements.
Looking for a wedding that merges classic with contemporary? HostCo has a dedicated team to work with you that makes sure no stone is left unturned. Sit back and enjoy celebrating your love when choosing to wed with HostCo.
The quirky couple got married by celebrant Jordan Vassallo. With years’ of experience under his belt, the celebrant transforms weddings into heartfelt, personal experiences – even if the couple are strangers!
Rhi and Jeff
It was a match made in heaven with Rhi and Jeff as the two had previously dated! When the not-so-strangers met at the wedding, they both seemed to breath a sigh of relief. But it wasn’t just the union of two people who had history that had our mouths agape, but the gorgeous setting of the wedding at Gunner’s Barracks. With panoramic views of Sydney’s water, the blue theme continued with icy blue florals seen throughout the wedding and reception
With the choice of two settings for the reception: the Harbour Lawn or the sandstone courtyard. The latter location was the choice for Rhi and Jeff’s party which was modern with a touch of luxury.
Gunner’s Barracks continues its opulence with a menu designed by Executive Chef Max Diganc who ensures that ‘the phone eats first’ as the food is as visually stunning as it is delicious.

Gunner's Barracks is an all-in-one venue.
After their delicious and breathtaking wedding, Rhi and Jeff escaped Sydney’s winter to the sunny shores of the Gold Coast. It’s here that they enjoyed their honeymoon at Imperial Hotel. The lavish hotel with 5-star service is perfect for both wedding and honeymoon, which the newly weds (and also new-exs!) got to enjoy.
“It’s amazing, this is living,” says bride Rhi, taking in Queensland white sand beaches.
Morena and Tony
It’s this years’ ‘older statesmen’ couple. The lovable duo give Tony and Carmella Soprano a run for their money when it comes to family and loyalty. Tony and Morena’s special day took place just 20 minutes from world famous Jervis Bay on NSW’s South Coast at Terrara House. A historic mansion, the beautiful finishings were well-suited to the Mediterranean couple who seem to have chemistry in abundance.
After a gorgeous modern barn wedding, Morena and Tony made their way to NSW’s Magenta Shores. It’s here that they stayed at the Pullman for their honeymoon. The wedding venue offers sweeping water views as well as golf and a lake. Both wedding and honeymoon can be enjoyed at this classic venue in a gorgeous Australiana setting.
Jacqui and Ryan
On the doorstop of Sydney was the location for perfectionist’s Jacqui and Ryan’s nuptials. The ‘warrior’ couple who have a list of achievements as long as the list of requirements in their partner got married at Tumbling Waters. With a saltwater pool and day spa, couples who get hitched here can spend their days after relaxing.
Their wedding was certainly eventful, so it was fitting that newlyweds Jacqui and Ryan took some peaceful time out in the Adelaide Hills. Staying at Mount Lofty, the couple put their shared passion of mindfulness to work with some yoga before (we assume) wine tasting. Both a wedding and a honeymoon location, Mount Lofty comes with world class wine and delicious food to match.
