On their 5th anniversary, Glenn organised he and Bethia to stay where they’d stayed for their first year anniversary – a Mount Dandenong bed and breakfast with a spa on the balcony and incredible views all the way to the city.
Later in the evening, Glenn sat Bethia down to watch a video he’d made for her. “It was the proposal,” Bethia explains. “It showed many shots of us over the years, and then showed our closest family and friends passing something to each other.”
Eventually whatever was being passed made it to Glenn (inside the video). From there, he approached the camera, handing ‘real life’ Glenn whatever it was through the television. “It was the ring,” says Bethia. “He came over to me and got on one knee and proposed.”

Glenn picked out Bethia’s engagement ring himself. “It is beautiful,” Bethia says. “It’s a diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds. It’s delicate and simple and I love that he close it for me.”
The pair have now been together 10 years, and married for nearly four of them. Glenn and Bethia have one son and another baby on the way!
“Glenn is 100% my best friend,” says Bethia. “He is my favourite person in the whole world to spend time with. He makes me laugh every day and is an amazing dad.”
