Christina Ricci, the petite American actress who stole our hearts as Wednesday Addams in 1990’s series The Addams Family and the film Mermaids, is all grown up.
Now 31 years old, Christina is also a very happily married newlywed having wed her long-time beau James Heerdegen in an intimate weekend ceremony in New York.
The former child star today shared a picture of herself posing for photographs in her beautiful couture white silk tulle Givenchy gown adding:
“I’m sorry I have to share what @riccardotisci made for me!!” she tweeted, adding the hashtag ‘#iloveyouricky!’.
The gown, boasting sheer elbow-length sleeves and a high neck with a long train, was embroidered with micro pearls and, in the pictures she Tweeted, she’s standing in front of a floor-to-ceiling window with Manhattan in the background.
Christina and her new hubby, a camera technician she met on the set of her now-cancelled TV series Pan-Am, treated guests to cocktails before the reception and, though it is said they decided to forgo their first dance, there was, by all accounts, plenty of dancing.
The couple confirmed their engagement in February 2013.
Congratulations to them both![ew-supplier-carousel]
