A venue in the Maldives has opened a spectacular, free-standing wedding pavilion where couples can walk down a glass aisle that overlooks a magical turtle enclosure.
The luxury Four Seasons Maldives, which is located at the tip of Landaa Giraavaru island, took advantage of its breathtaking views by building the intimate, open-air wedding pavilion in the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean that surround it.
The structure is about 45m and can only be accessed by boat by a maximum of 18 people.
Beneath the pavilion is a turtle enclosure and the creatures can be seen serenely swimming below the glass aisle.
The airy and open pavilion features bi-fold glass doors so the three sides of the structure are completely open, enhancing the sprawling views of beach and ocean.
Armando Kraenzlin, the Four Seasons Maldives’ general manager told the Daily Mail, “Now wedding couples can surround themselves by – and draw inspiration from – the power, possibility and abundant beauty of the ocean.”
