It’s official! Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are husband and wife.
The couple, who became engaged on Christmas Eve 2013, enjoyed a second wedding ceremony at Depp’s private island, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, in the Bahamas over the weekend, however, they married legally at their Los Angeles home earlier in the week.
The Bahamas ceremony, which took place under a flower-laden white marquee, was small and intimate, with fewer than 30 friends and family present.
“Johnny’s private island is a tropical paradise. Wedding guests were treated to an amazing weekend that ended with a romantic beach ceremony,” a source tells People.
“Guests relaxed on the beaches, had fun snorkeling and enjoyed food cooked by private chefs. Everyone seemed to have the best time. It was a very celebratory vibe.”
The bride, 28, wore a flowing, long-sleeved white gown accompanied by a floor-length veil, whil the groom, 51, opted for a white tuxedo and black pants.
The bridal party included the bride’s sister, while Depp’s best man was his own son, 12-year-old Jack, who wore matching attire.
“The weather was perfect and the beach setting was gorgeous,” People’s source says. “The ceremony was beach casual and intimate, yet very romantic.”
