Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker
High School Musical alumni Vanessa Hudgens’ wedding to baseball beau Cole Tucker had us “soarin’, flyin'” in December. After a Mexico meet-cute and Eiffel Tower proposal, the pair tied the knot surrounded by nature at Azulik City of Arts in Tulum, Mexico. The bride wore an unforgettable Vera Wang gown, complete with a veil featuring custom embroidery of her new husband’s name and their wedding date. All together now: “Awww!”
Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith
Our Real Wedding blog had a taste of reality star glamour in April with ex-Bachelor contestants Alisha and Glenn’s beachside luxury wedding in Denmark, WA. In a heartfelt moment, the couple honoured their friend CJ, who passed away four weeks before the wedding, by pouring a champagne tower of Passion Pop. “He would have loved the idea of doing a champagne tower with Passion Pop and it really did make us feel like he was there with us,” said Alisha.
Rita Ora and Taika Waititi
The worlds of pop stardom and Hollywood collided in this intimate Los Angeles wedding celebration. Who doesn’t love a “friends to lovers” storyline? Rita and Taika were buddies for four years before sparks flew! After just two weeks of planning, in keeping with their commitment to privacy, the pair tied the knot at home with just eight guests.
Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse
This July wedding had been on our “to-watch” list for a hot minute! Hungarian-born Victoria’s Secret model Barbara and Disney Channel alum Dylan have charmed the public with their candid interviews and hilarious red-carpet moments. The couple chose to wed on the bride’s parents’ property in the Hungarian countryside, with 150 guests in attendance.
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens
Sports powerhouses Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens met thanks to the celeb fairy godmother of dating: Raya. We adored their May wedding in Cabo which brought the perfect amount of luxury whilst still being authentic. Our favourite part? The bride’s gorgeous Galia Lahav gown. Wedding. Dress. Goals.
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grange
Style icon Sofia Richie’s wedding was always going to be the stuff Pinterest board dreams are made of. In celebrity fashion, the model and social media personality (oh, and daughter of soul legend Lionel Richie) tied the knot with music executive Elliot Grange at an exclusive resort on the water in Antibes, France. Très magnifique!
Abigail Breslin and Ira Kunyansky
First of all, we can’t believe Little Miss Sunshine herself is all grown up! The actress and musician married her long-time love, Ira, in a romantic January wedding. Not a lot is known about the details of their celebration, but the couple has posted a shot of them getting down on the dancefloor surrounded by loved ones and pyrotechnics.
Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie Chance
A summer-camp-themed wedding? And the brides wore Gucci? Say no more! This creative pair (for those not in the know, Beanie is an actor and Bonnie is a film producer) chose the beautiful and exclusive Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley for their May celebration. The ceremony reflected the brides’ Jewish faith and incorporated an exchange of hand-written promises. We’re not crying — you are.
Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup
It’s safe to say that celebrities are associated with extravagant weddings — not Naomi and Billy. Our Aussie screen queen opted for stress-free courthouse nuptials with her actor beau. The understated theme didn’t extend to the attire — the bride wore a stunning white lace Oscar de la Renta gown. That’s our kind of low-key celebration.
Vance Joy and Selen Us
Aussie crooner Vance Joy married Selen Us — the inspiration for the track Missing Piece — in a harbourside June wedding. After a long-distance courtship, the couple chose vibrant Istanbul for their celebration. Their ceremony gave us serious floral envy with a whimsical colour palate, tropical blooms, and a fairy-light canopy.
Robin Roberts and Amber Laign
What’s better than a wedding celebration? Two wedding celebrations! Robin and Amber first wed in Farmington, Connecticut, with 250 people in attendance. For the best of both worlds, the newlyweds doubled the fun with a New Orleans party featuring a lively brass band and a three-tier wedding cake.
Kat Dennings and Andrew W.K.
You could be forgiven for having missed this very low-key 2023 wedding. Two Broke Girls favourite Kat and multi-instrumentalist Andrew opted for an intimate backyard wedding in November. We adored the vintage styling and Kat’s oh-so-pretty wedding day look. The bride even did her own floral styling — we love a DIY queen!
Colton Underwood and Jordan C Brown
We imagine the motto for this celebrity wedding to be “more is more.” Napa Valley was the backdrop for Colton and Jordan’s romantic three-day wedding bash. The handsome grooms wore Tom Ford for their ceremony, which was witnessed by 200 guests. Our favourite part? The disco-themed pool party. Iconic.
G-Flip and Chrishell Stause
Would it really be a celebrity wedding round-up without a Las Vegas ceremony? Melbourne muso G-Flip and Selling Sunset star Chrishell surprised the world with their “untraditional” wedding, keeping the news under wraps for months before announcing on social media. While there are some questions about whether the couple legally tied the knot, it’s clear that this pair are smitten.
