You may never have heard of Tiler Peck and Robert Fairchild, but their weekend nuptials were the Royal Wedding of the ballet world – and their story is the fairytale you’d expect.
Tiler and Robert are principal dancers at the New York City Ballet, which places them amongst the top 100 ballet dancers in the world.

But it wasn’t until the two of them ended up at the prestigious NYCB, dancing some of ballet’s most romantic roles, that the sparks flew both onstage and off.
“Top be partners on stage is great,” says Tiler. “We already have so much chemistry that it just feels so natural.”
Tiler and Robert became engaged in mid 2013, after Robert organised a fake photo shoot atop Paris’ ancient church,, Sacre Coeur, where he dropped to one knee and popped the big questions.
Tiler says she said, ‘Yes!’ as soon as she realised what was happening and even before Robert had a chance to ask!
Many of their fellow Company members attended their intimate wedding, posting pictures on Twitter and Instagram.
Congratulations to Tiler and Robert!
The groom posted this picture on Twitter with the caption, ‘Off to Bora Bora & Le Taha’a with my wife @tilerpeck . Let the honeymoon begin. No phones:) Back in 10 days.’
