Awww. Could these two get any more adorable?
Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have been together for nine years, but the parents of six, still ensure they make time to keep romance alive in their relationship by sending each other love letters when they are apart.
Angie recently told an interviewer that they still “drive each other beautiful crazy” and, that when the two are filming separate film projects in different parts of the world, they hand-write love letters to each other.
Most recently, while Angie was directing her upcoming film, Unbroken, about WWII hero Louis Zamperini, in Australia and Brad was filming Fury, about soldiers fighting the Nazis, they decided to conduct their relationship as lovers during that era would have – without email or easily available long-distance phone calls.
“He was supportive from a distance, and it was quite romantic in a way,” Angie says.
“We decided to be of that time, when we could imagine he was in the European theater and I was in the Pacific theater, and we wrote handwritten letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then.”
Double awww. What a way to keep the flames of passion stoked.
Thankfully, the gorgeous and very-much-in-love couple, are no longer apart. In fact, their next project, By the Sea, in which Brad and Angie both act, will be filmed in Malta, so they’ll be together until Christmas, surrounded by their beloved brood.
Oh, and the best bit? We’ll get to see Angie in a wedding dress – and Brad waiting at the top of an aisle for her – because the film calls for a rather sweet wedding scene between the two!
Can’t wait.
