OVERVIEW

Hi. My name's Chris and I'm a wedding filmmaker based in Melbourne, Australia. I shoot weddings in an unobtrusive, documentary style: I'm not in-your-face and I prefer to let the action take place naturally. I prefer to look for special moments and pieces throughout the day that help tell the story of your wedding. I'm much more interested in the people than the bling and try to capture moments between you, your friends and your family on the day. I feel privileged that I have the chance to be a part of a couple's special day.

What do you get?

Well, you get me for the day. I'm also available before the wedding if you need a chat or have any questions. After your wedding you'll receive a USB with High Definition movies of your wedding film, plus edited copies of your ceremony, reception speeches, and first dance.

Why should you get a wedding film?

Because they're awesome, but also because video captures something very different to photographic images. Being able to capture movement and the sound of voices and music is so important. After months and months of planning, your wedding day will fly by in the blink of an eye. It's such a great keepsake to have a wedding film to look back over your special day.

We booked Chris after seeing his beautiful, natural videography style on his website. And we clicked with him from the first meeting. He was very detailed and professional, and immediately put us at ease. We were happy for him to do his thing on the day, loving his unobtrusive natural style of videography. He had never worked with out photographer before, but he worked so professionally with him letting him take the lead when necessary. On the night he quietly managed everything he needed to: videography, microphones for the speeches to capture audio, keeping time to the running sheet and more! We never had to worry about a thing. Having a videographer at our wedding was a bit of a last minute decision but having watched Chris's video many times since, it is certainly not a decision we regret!! Chris was so lovely & unobtrusive on the day it amazed us he had managed to catch so many beautiful moments on film & our mini movie was way beyond expectations! We would not hesitate in recommending Hey Love Films to anyone wanting a perfect memory of their day!
