OVERVIEW
Film making was something I had always held a secret desire to do and it wasn't long before I switched the camera mode to video and began to capture my experiences in this great format.
My journey saw me wanting to bring other peoples stories to light through video production. I love the actual event, the capturing of special moments and the many hours of editing that take place post filming and of course, the end result!
I use state of the art DSLR cameras, high quality lenses and sound equipment as well as advanced editing software to ensure that your journey is turned into a creative and wonderful story.
I have a fantastic team of enthusiastic young people that bring great vision and creativity to the recording process. They all have a great deal of expertise, having completed tertiary studies in film making, or for some, currently studying.
We will shoot literally hundreds of video clips of your special moments and then take the best of the best images and edit those into your very own story.
I don't consider that I am simply filming, but rather, creating a story for you, a mini-movie of that special moment.
I simply love my work.
Let me bring my passion to your very own video story.
About
My business name was born out of my love for life generally, and in particular, my passion for walking. I've walked not only locally, but throughout the world, taking photographs and video as I go. The more I videoed, the more I wanted to video. I've brought this passion to what I do and love to produce wedding videos for people to share for many generations to come. If you want an affordable, stress free videographer, you've come to the right place!

FAQ
Of course! If you're in Canberra or nearby, we can meet face to face and gho over all the videography details. If your further away, we can Skype or chat on Messenger. For those weddings interstate, I will arrive at least a couple of days prior to the wedding date and get together then.
I do my best to blend into the background because quiete simply, your wedding day is not about me, it's all about you. However, it's a little difficult to blend into the background with two camera operators, who are both trying to get the best shots possible. So what you will get is the TWWP crew going non-stop from the preparations through to the end of the reception and doing our upmost to no intrude. Oh yeah, all our camera operators are extremely responsive to you as the client, so don't be afraid to ask them to film something that you really want captured!
I always aim to have the sample video to you within one to two weeks and the full product within two to three weeks. I don't take wedding bookings for every weekend, which allows enough time to properly edit your video without having to rush. This produces a much better product. So when I video your wedding, I am 100% committed to producing your video for the entire two week period.
Apart from preparation of the equiment and briefing the crew, we spend around 10 (ish) hours filming and recording sound on the day. This is followed by approxiamately 40 hours of editing before the final product is ready for you.
We ask that you do for a simple reason. We're with you for 10 (ish) hours and we don't have the luxury of being able to leave and obtain a meal. Imagine the crew not being present and something important occurs that is not videoed? Not good, so we ask for two meals, which we normally take during a lull in proceedings (most times we eat around 8.30pm).
Nothing. My price is all inclusive and besides, I get a trip away, which is usually to a very pleasant location! No hidden costs.
Let me start by saying, I do not want to stop any of your guests or family from taking photo's or videoes. However, if they are not cognisant of the role for which you have hired me, it can interfere with what I am trying to do for you. Simply, people will step in front of my camera and block the footage.
I need clear access to all of the proceedings as this is how the best footage is obtained and ultimately, this is how the best quality video is produced.
Being a videographer, I don't have the luxury of a photography flash. The closest thing to a flash, would be portable film lighting, which means everytime I take footage in a low lighting event, you would be blasted with my lights.
So in order to avoid this, I ask that the reception manager keeps the lights high for the important events - speeches, cake cutting and bridal dance. Usually the lights go down about halfway through the bridal dance, which is fine. If you don't like the idea of having the lights up, it means that I have to adjust my ISO and simply, the higher it goes, the grainier the footage. I can also adjust lighting at the editing stage, but this is never as good as getting the shot right to start with.
If you have any queries or concerns about this, please speak to me.
You probably already know the answer to this. Quality sound, means a quality production!
There are limitations to what I can do when recording sound. Brides are never real keen to have a wireless microphone up under their dress and a lavelier mic attached to the dress near the collarbone - understandable. The wirless microphone producers a high quality of sound, but because it is so intrusive, I go for the second best means of recording sound, which is using a condensor microphone placed near the PA speaker.
If your event is outside and is a windy day, the wind gusts greatly affect the sound recording quality even with a wind sock. So, don't stress about the sound, but just a reminder that sound can be impacted by the elements.
Well I hope you have! You want professional photographs.
Videographers and photographers understand what each is trying to achieve and we always work together.
I love what I do and I love to keep it affordable so that all people have access to a video production of their wedding.
Absolutely. As it says on my website - ALL ARE WELCOME!
Go to my website at www.thewalkworldproductions.com or send me a message through wedcrm and I'll let you know whether your date is available.
Once the date is confirmed, I'll send you my wedding contract and an invoice.
I'll then email you a list of questions about the wedding so I have all the details and timings of what is to occur on the day.
I then send you a 'shot list', which is just an overview of what I'm going to film on the day.
We then meet and make sure everything you want on the day is covered. After that, I'll see you on the day!
I'm a little older than your average wedding videographer, and I'm extremely passionate about what I do. This is my second career in life so I like to think that I ironed all my faults out in my first career!
I love filming because I love to tell a story. That is basically what a wedding is, a story about two people who have come together on this very special day to start the rest of their lives together. The emotion of a wedding day is special thing and to be able to capture it all on video is a great priveledge.
My crew are all qualified! They have Advanced Diplomas or Degrees in Film Making.
Our price is as reasonable as you'll get. My crew and I love what we do!
Yes. I have a photographer who is just starting out in the wedding business and she is extremely passionate about her photography. She has a diploma in photography.

Get Expert AdviceWhat is your favourite aspect of the wedding video?
Is it the walking down the aisle? The dancing at the end of the night? Something else?
The Walk World Productions
No doubt, the arrival of the bride. I love to get an up close shot of the groom as the bride walks down the aisle. All those months of planning, now amongst amongst family and friends and finally, the waiting and preparations are over. It's that one special moment that I love.
Can I choose my own music for my wedding video?
The Walk World Productions
You can choose your music to a certain extent. This means that as long as the music you want can be licenced, then yes, you can choose it. Generally, all music can be licenced, but I'm referring to music that is not going to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Also, there is a lot of dicussion about publishing on Youtube. A quality music licence should include a licencing component for Youtube, as long as the music remains part of the wedding video, which is generally the legal requirement around licecning. By including the licence details on the video credits, Youtube will not take the video down and in the rare event that they do, providing the licencing details as per the credits will result in the video being put back up.
Make sure you speak to you're videographer if you need further details.
