Your venue is one of the biggest parts of your day, and as such should be booked as soon as you know roughly when you would like to be married. Often we find couples coming in with photographers, etc already booked and being disapointed when the dates they are looking for arent available in their top venue choices.
We reccomend booking your wedding date at least 12 months ahead in order to ensure you get the most important
date you want. This will also allow you the time to find the most suited vendors and suppliers and make sure they are available. Leaving your bookings too late
could resolve in dissappointment and stress that is just not needed. Another hot tip is budgeting. If you give yourselves that extra time to save for the extra things
that pop up. Overall, the more time you give, the less stress and more organising can be done to create your dream wedding.
You should book our venue because we are a unique, country, destination wedding venue, where you get to choose exactly how you want your dream wedding to be. We offer flexibility and you can tailor your wedding to your budget.

We offer a beautiful destination venue, centrally located in the Tweed Valley, Northern NSW, only 1 hr from the Coolangatta, Gold Coast airport & 1 hr from Byron Bay & 1.15hrs from the Ballina Airport, NSW.
Here's how our weddings roll - you & your guests get to stay 2 nights & 3 days. We provide all the supplementary meals in the original 1906 homestead with deck & your organise your wedding reception & caterer down in the rustic barn. We can accommodate 170 of your guests with a variety of accommodation options from camping to glamping & motel style rooms. Your guests pay for their accommodation & meal package with us and you pay the venue hire fee.

Enquiries usually come through about 3 years in advance, so the earlier you book, the better! Popular months for us include October, November and March, so these are usually booked faster than others. Most weddings are booked between 10 and 24 months in advance to get a preferred day/date.
Specific lead time will vary from venue to venue but most couples will book a date 10-20 months in advance. Longer lead times are required for busier times of the year (Warmer months) and busier days of the week (Thursday-Saturday). It never hurts however to reach out and and query availability if you are flexible on dates.
We highly recommend you book as soon as you know an estimated date of wedding.
Ceremony & Reception events book quickly to 2 years in advance
Our vessels will normally require 3 months notice to ensure availability for your preferred wedding date. That being said, some couples are super organised and book further in advance - and with only one of each vessel that means that once it's gone, it's gone! If you're looking at short notice we will work with you to find a solution and help make your wedding vision a reality.

From there once the venue and date are secured all other suppliers and vendors can be booked in. The sooner you finalise a venue, the sooner you can start meeting with all those involved to dream up your perfect day and ensure everyone is able to give you the best service possible.
