Hawkesbury Function Centre already has insurance which is Public Liability, But you should not have to take out your own insurance and it's a good idea to read venues Terms & Conditons.
you definitely do not need wedding insurance ! your venue is covered under their public liability - don't be sucked in to this !
Venues have public liability insurance for registered guests and visitors.
We have Public Liability and Terms and Conditions however we suggest you may wish to take insurance to cover a cancellation within 12 months of your date. We do not provide this.
This is not required as the hotel has its own insurance.
We have insurance at our venue

Hello Riley;
Thank you for your inquiry.
My Venue has public liability insurance; but wedding insurance is not part of it. It is something that is wedding specific and taken up by yourselves to cover theft, damages, illness, cancellation of your wedding leading up to your special day and on the day itself.
My venue has a Terms and Conditions/Cancellation Policy so wedding insurance would cover these.
Kind Regards,
Heather Kolb.

All venues by law have to have public Liability Insurance. Wedding insurance covers you for things like unexpected cancellation of the wedding etc which is NOT covered by the venue.
