Most vendors won’t need more than the 2 hours allowed prior to the event starting, however we are more than happy to receive deliveries for your event the day or two prior.

The Garden. If you’re dreaming of a romantic garden wedding ceremony, you’ll love the idyllic setting of Fergusson Winery’s outdoor ceremony space with a gorgeous backdrop of estate grape vines.

The Barrel Room. This beautiful space is popular for wedding receptions at Fergusson Winery and is sure to impress, with plenty of room for dancing and rustic French oak wine barrels lining the walls. The Barrel Room can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests seated banquet style.
The Forever Chapel. Fergusson Winery’s picturesque white wedding chapel offers a gorgeous setting for romantic wedding ceremonies. This light-filled space boasts vintage pews and stunning 360-degree views over the vineyards.

The Restaurant. The restaurant at Fergusson Winery is ideal for larger wedding receptions and features a cosy fireplace, soaring cathedral ceilings, and views of the vines. The Restaurant has space for 140 seated guests with a dancefloor or 250 guests for cocktail-style weddings.

HOW MANY HOURS ARE INCLUDED IN MY WEDDING PACKAGE? HOW EARLY CAN WE ARRIVE, AND HOW LATE CAN WE STAY?

Your reception package is for 6.5 hours which includes a 1 hour complimentary ceremony feature.

We have extensions available for a fee, with conclusions as late as midnight!

WHAT ARE THE PRICES FOR DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE WEEK?

Our per head package prices remain the same no matter the day of week or the time of year!

We have no venue hire fee and no ceremony fee! It is worthwhile mentioning we do have a minimum

spend requirement depending on your day & month of your wedding.

DO YOU HAVE ONSITE ACCOMODATION?

Yes, we have the Fergusson homestead which sleeps up to 6 guests. The rooms can be closed off to accommodate 3 individual rooms or opened up to act as one whole house.

DO YOU CATER FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes. We can cater for individual dietary requirements or we can tailor a menu to suit your preferences.

IS THERE A PRIVATE SPACE IF WE NEED SOME ALONE TIME OR WANT TO STORE PERSONAL ITEMS?

Our Bridal suite is available for use on your Wedding day from 10.30am onwards and comes with cosy lounges, lots of natural light, mirrors and plenty of space for all the extra bits and pieces.

We got married on 7/11/24 and Sarah truly bought our vision to life. In fact it was better than we could have ever imagined. Sarah is so organised, she thinks of things that we hadn’t even considered and was so attentive and supportive on during the year of planning and on the day. The food is unbeatable, everyone was raving about it all night! I know Fergusson can cater to larger weddings, but for us we struggled to find somewhere that was reasonably priced and felt right for our small 30 person wedding but Fergusson was the PERFECT fit. We couldn’t recommend this team more highly, they were upfront and no hidden costs at any stage. Special shout out to waitress Sasha on our wedding day too-she was so attentive, polite and efficient. Thankyou Fergusson team!!!!!! We will be back for a meal for sure!!!!

A Dream Wedding Venue! We recently celebrated our wedding at Fergusson Winery, and it was an absolutely magical experience, rainbows and all. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and elegant decor. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The ceremony space was beautifully set up, and the barrel room as a reception place was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. The food and wine was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Special thanks to Sarah, who made the planning process so smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and dedication truly made our day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to start our new chapter together. Oh my goodness!! We had our wedding here in Feb and just fell in love with this venue when we first visited. We were spoilt for choice with ceremony options; we had ours outside under the sandstone gazebo but we’re relieved to know the barrel room was equally beautiful and available if the weather didn’t play nice on the day! Sarah was just the best!! So amazing and helpful, putting up with our last minute table changes🙊 and giving us heaps of ideas on how to make the day run the best for us! We ended up doing spirits for guests from 7:30pm onwards and they were so accomodating to this. THE FOOD is honestly so so delicious, our other vendors were so excited for their meals when they heard where we were getting married. Could not have been happier, was a magical day, all made possible by Sarah & the beautiful team at Fergussons.🤍🤍🤍

I don't even know how to explain our amazing experience at Fergusson Winery for our wedding. I can easily say that it was the best day of our lives and that I wouldn't change a single thing, and a massive part of that is due to the absolutely amazing team and venue. Our original wedding venue cancelled on us five months out from our wedding day, thankfully Sarah (our wedding coordinator) caught us while we were falling and picked up the pieces of our broken day. I can honestly say that I am actually grateful that our original venue cancelled, as I think we were destined to be married at Fergusson! Sarah is a true expert in her field and she leads a stella team. The day was perfectly organised and run, with planning considerations made for us that I didn't even think of! They have the best attention to detail. Our honeymoon suite was beautiful, the food and wine was delicious, the sandstone gazebo was lush, the pricing was perfect, the barrel room was serene, the view was breathtaking. I could go on and on. If you are considering having your wedding here DO IT. You won't find a better place. I will forever be thankful for our perfect day at this prefect venue with its perfect team. My partner and I were married at Fergusson on 22 November 2024, and it was the most amazing experience we could have asked for. Right from the beginning, we were so well looked after. We started scouting wedding venues about 18 months in advance. Armed with shortlist of venues based on some cursory online research, we took a trip up to the Yarra Valley one Saturday to check them out. Fergusson was the first on our list. We turned up without any pre-booking with the intent of just looking around, but after we explained to staff what we were doing, within moments one of the wedding coordinators had come to introduce herself and give us a grand tour. She took the time to explain everything about their wedding packages in detail, the ceremony options, the onsite accommodation, the wines and menus, etc. The good vibes were so strong that it became the benchmark and no other venue we saw that day stacked up to the warmth of that initial experience, making Fergusson an easy choice for our big day. Every little interaction between our first visit and the last drinks at the end of our reception reinforced that we made the right decision. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, was phenomenal and made the whole experience so stress-free. She was always on had to answer our (many) questions, and recommended some fantastic vendors to round out our wedding team. The venue itself is a perfect combination of modern and rustic, with exposed ceiling beams, festoon lights, and wine barrels juxtaposed with white tablecloths and floor to ceiling glass windows giving a stunning view over the vineyard at sunset (seriously, our photos are amazing). The food was incredible, as were the atmosphere and the staff – you know you have an amazing team when they are smiling and dancing along with you at the end of the night! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fergusson to anyone looking for a wedding venue, especially if you’re looking for a more intimate and less ‘commercial’ feel that is present in some of the larger Yarra Valley wineries. Thanks Sarah and the whole Fergusson team for making our wedding so fantastic!
