“We recently had our wedding celebration at The Cove, and it was everything and more that we could have dreamed of!! Our friends and family had the best time and have not stopped raving about it!! The staff are so very attentive and generous, and we could not fault them! Their communication in the lead up is excellent, with very prompt responses. Once we arrived, they continued to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (especially coffee and bubbles) to ensure we were relaxed and calm on our big day. The grounds were immaculate and stunning, even more so at night, and it made for the most incredible backdrop for our dream wedding. Our family and friends were also immensely impressed with the friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff. They also make it easy for all our vendors to deal with them.” - Kristy C.

"It was so nice having our fam and friends there with us all weekend, such a unique experience for a wedding just outside of Sydney. It really took the pressure off the big day as we had plenty of time to get around and chat to all of our guests. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for a magical magical weekend. You had the grounds looking absolutely spectacular, none of our guests could believe it. The yoga and brekkie were perfect. Then there was everything else that we weren’t even expecting like the gelato and beautiful gifts. Even on the Sunday morning we weren’t able to use the BBQ area for the breakfast because of the storm that came over, and you guys cleared and cleaned the marquee then repurposed all the wedding flowers to make that brekky area all ok to die for! The generosity

'The Cove was everything we had hoped for and more. Exchanging our vows with the back drop of the inlet was just magic! The Cove allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Jervis and get lost in the celebration of love with all nearest and dearest. The day was just beautiful and all our family and friends had the best time, they are still talking about it! Ben and I loved the attention to detail and care the team showed, we truly felt like royalty on our big day!'

WOW!! WHERE DO WE START?! We booked the Cove for our wedding on 12 August 2023, this is a venue you stay for 2 nights and get married on the second day. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue, all of the staff were amazing, the admin team on the other side was amazing with the help and information leading up to the wedding. The accommodation was amazing and it was beautiful to have all of our family and friends in the one place. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. As this is a DIY venue, it does require a little bit more work, this allows you to have your own caters and do exactly what you wanted. The Cove do give you a list of suppliers which they work with quite closely. They also include in your wedding package a recovery breakfast

Do most venues offer menu tastings?

What's the typical setup for a menu tasting for a wedding venue?

The Cove Jervis Bay

No we do not. We are a BYOI wedding venue so a menu tasting would be through a catering company of your choosing.

Who sits on what tables at a reception?

Hi there. Can we get a basic idea of who goes on what tables at the reception? Is there an “order” to who sits closest to the front and the bridal table? Would love some ideas for groupings. Thanks.

The Cove Jervis Bay

Hi! Thanks so much for your enquiry. The honest answer is where you seat your guests is entirely up to you! Traditionally you would have the family of the bride and groom closest to the bridal party table, and the rest of the guests spread further back, but honestly there are no rules anymore! I would still recommend having a seating plan for the sake of the caterers. Having everyone pick a seat sounds fun, but it's a bit of an organisational nightmare in reality! I hope this helps :)
