Each site has a maximum capacity that is detailed in the wedding information for each location. We recommend that you inspect the sites to ensure you are comfortable that your preferred area is well suited for the size of your group.
We love to make magic happen! Feel free to decorate your ceremony with cut flowers, shade structures, arbours, aisle runners, plinths, festoon lights..the list is endless!
Certainly! We have The Gardens Cafe on-site for daytime catering and refreshments. You are also welcome to use a third-party caterer for your event.

Some sites can have petals, though we do request that these are picked up post-ceremony. Being a botanic Garden with an ABUNDANCE of beautiful plants throughtout, this extra step helps to protect our living collection.
Rice is not permitted; Confetti (including biodegradable confetti) is not permitted.
Power is available for certain sites. Please speak with staff for details.
You may use a low-volume, battery powered portable speaker or amplifier for the wedding celebrant. Please position speakers towards your area to minimise impact on other Garden users.

Yes. the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan is a public garden and other activities may be occurring at the same time. The public will be notified by signage of your ceremony, but we can only guarantee exclusive hire at the Connections Garden.
If you are after more privacy, have you considered an after-hours ceremony?
Each wedding ceremony site has a designated car parking area which varies from location to location.
Free car parking is available throughout the Garden and is available to all garden visitors on a first come first service basis.
A coach parking bay is available on Yandelora Drive (ask our staff for specific locations).
No, the Australian Botanic Garden closes to all vehicles each night. If a car has broken down, or cannot otherwise be moved due to mechanical fault, your guests should please notify a Gardens Ranger on 0409 122 953 in order to avoid a fine.
No, due to the wildlife that call the Garden home, pets are not allowed.

We are also open to the public every day, 8am - Sunset. Feel free to pop on in and take a self-guided tour at a time that suits you best.

Here at the Australian Botanic Garden we have 9 ceremony locations to choose from that are available 7 days a week (pending existing bookings) and can be held regardless of whether the couple are hosting their reception at the garden.
