Can I do the ceremony/reception on its own?

Absolutely, you can just hold either your ceremony or reception at our venue, or do both all in one place! We will give you a custom, obligation-free quote for both services when you're ready to start planning your special day.

Do I have to pick a set package?

We have three ready-made packages for you to choose from so that you know where to start, but we work by the saying 'personalised, not packaged'.

Anything you want to customise is do-able! If you've seen it at a wedding you attended and want to know if we can do the same, simply ask our dedicated planner. We are happy to discuss changes outside of the set packages and work with you to truly personalise your experience.

The venue is just amazing and outstanding. The stuff made us feel that our day was only ours and very special. Food was amazing and delious. Accommodation is also like a retreat away from home.

A stunning location with amazing staff who made the whole process so easy. Kirsten the event coordinator was super friendly and accommodating to the vision of our wedding and Gene in the restaurant was super helpful with not only the reception itself, but the menu tasting beforehand. All we got were compliments from our guests.

On the day of the wedding who sets up the decorations at the venue?

Mercure Gerringong Resort

That depends on what is included with your venue, and what is being brought in. Some venues offer styling as part of their wedding packages, and your wedding planner from your venue will be able to advise what is included specifically for their packages. If they offer it, it will be set up by the venue team.

If you're sourcing your own via dry hire options or DIY'ing it, you'll need to get some volunteer family members or friends to set them up once the venue has put your tables and chairs in place alongside tablecloths and anything else they provide. You'll want to be liaising with your venue about who you're expecting will be on-site and when you can get access to start set up.

If you hire a stylist from an external company, they'll advise who will be setting up what (and when), and it's usually part of the initial discussion and quote. They'll also liaise with you or your venue directly for access information and planning.

Fresh flowers and greens are highly recommended.

It adds more natural feel and are bio degradable too.
