The Studio

We had our wedding at The Studio last weekend, and it was wonderful! My partner and I knew we wanted a beautiful blank canvas space for a relaxed wedding that focused on the things that we really cared about. We had it cocktail/lounge style, could bring in our own caterers, our own alcohol (we paid RSA qualified staff to serve it), and we were able to decorate and use the space very flexibly (ceremony inside, then cocktail hour outside, then reception back inside). Using some of the furniture/props available at The Studio also offset the amount that we had to hire to comfortably accommodate our 115 guests. Giles the venue contact is flexible, chilled, and very responsive. Venue access was always easy to tee up, and he was happy to give us leeway around bump in/out times as long as we weren't impeding on other bookings.

I am so glad that I stumbled upon The Studio when looking for a ceremony venue for our wedding! It is the perfect blank canvas to create your dream wedding - think high ceilings, white walls & very industrial. Giles was also amazing to work with as well and so very helpful in allowing us to use some of the amazing props/furniture already existing in The Studio.

What a find , The Studio! A perfect space for any event with a white blank canvas ! We used it for a wedding ceremony which allowed for fabulous photographs of the setup of the wedding as well as portrait shoots in a beautiful air conditioned space. Loved working with this blank canvas, high ceilinged, industrial warehouse space for our wedding ceremony (with self-catered lunch and drinks). The Studio was very accommodating for site visits and requirements, with lots of inclusions with venue hire, such as AV/microphones, some furniture and plinths etc. Giles was always very responsive and helpful. We and our guests loved the unique space and location - it was perfect for ~170 mostly standing guests.

The Studio was the perfect location for our indoor wedding ceremony. Not only was it filled with natural light, making the photographers job a dream, but it was a blank canvas to style in whichever way, shape or form we wanted. In saying that, it still had a nice, modern, contemporary feel to it, allowing the styling to be kept fairly simple yet still impactful. Giles was absolutely amazing to deal with. Nothing was too much. We used all of the smaller rooms and spaces within The Studio, and Giles ensured that each space was left clean, neat and tidy, with all random items stored away on the day. He was also so prompt in answering calls and emails with any of our questions and concerns. The spaces all worked so well for what we needed on the day - pity more spaces like it don't exist, but thank goodness for this one!! Can't wait to bring some of my own clients back there for their events one day soon. Thanks Giles!
