Does Burnham Grove Estate allow external caterers and BYO beverages?
Yes and yes! You can hire the venue only and have an external caterer of your choice plus BYO beverages, subject to approval from the venue. Please note that any external caterers must be fully insured and licensed, and there will be an additional kitchen fee of $1000. If you plan to do BYO, you will need to have the alcohol served by RSA certified staff only, which could be your caterers or hired staff.

All-in-one wedding venues - I NEED HELP!
I recently got engaged and am looking and a bunch of different options for venues at the moment. I've come across a few "all-in-one" wedding venues, which sounds really appealing in one sense because this would mean I don't have to worry about sourcing catering, decor, venue hire etc., which means I'd have more time to enjoy being engaged and not stress about all the suppliers I'd need to find - but how does this actually work? Are venues flexible with style and what we want or is it mostly like "this is what we have, take it or leave it"? I'm also wondering how we make our wedding unique if we're just going with one of these venues that a bunch of other couples have used - I know it's silly but I would kinda be crushed if someone had the exact same wedding day (as in like copy/pasted event) as me. How do venues mix thing up to make your day unique to you? Sorry... lots of questions in one go... PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!! - An already stressed out bride-to-be xx

Hi there, we are considering an outdoor wedding. What are any pitfalls we'd need to prepare for, or ways in which outdoor weddings are handled differently to indoor ones?

For Ceremonies, we have 5 ceremony gardens to choose from. We can offer a wet weather alternative location which a marquee can be placed in this space just in case. This can be decided at 2 weeks out to add on to your package and then on the day if we need it we can set your ceremony underneath still surrounded by gardens. If you choose not to have this option but it doesn rain on the day, your ceremony can be moved inside our Grand Marquee onto the dance floor space.
For the reception, our grand marquee has clear sides overlooking the gardens. For evening receptions, the reception starts with an hour of pre-dinner canapes on the lawn followed by a reception in the marquee. However if you are wanting a full wedding outside, we would need to conclude by 6pm for noise restrictions.
