No Wedding Party Table at Reception

I am looking at venues for our reception and along with that table set ups. We prefer long tables. I have always loved the idea of not having a wedding party table and sitting amongst our guests. At this stage we are not having a formal wedding party just my nieces and nephews as flower girls and ring bearers. Does anyone have any examples of how couples have done this? Or advice for and against doing this?

Good Afternoon,

We have had our last few weddings actually do this, and join their guests in the middle of the long tables.

It worked well as they mingled with their guests and were not feeling separated from the rest of the wedding and fun.

At Alba, we area able to accommodate long dining tables.

Do we seat couples opposite or next to each other on a long table?

It's a garden setting. We want to allow better mingling

This can all be down to the Bride and Grooms preference, however we would normally place couples next to each other should they wish to engage in intimate conversations.

Are wedding venues only 18+ or can minors attend the reception where alcohol is being served?

Minors are more than welcome to join in the celebrations, we are fully licensed restaurant.
