The Gardens Club

If we could give more than t stars we would. From the first email after my enquiry, to the end of our celebrations, we found Jess and her team at The Garden’s club outstanding in every way. Venue We wanted a venue for a small cocktail style wedding for 50 guests. This was the perfect venue size. We had the freedom to style the venue as we liked. The ceremony and reception being at the same place was a big plus. Great pictures can be taken here. Service I felt that along the process I could ask many questions and feel at ease. In addition, the service on the night, was spot on. Friendly, professional and great in altering a time schedule slightly. Other things that were good, The ability to choose a bar tab or bar package, big plus. In addition, to being able to choose some other alcohol. Creating our own Spotify lists for all parts of the reception. The food - yum! Also, the reception flowed well, given that we went straight into celebrating with our guests. Practical thing here - the bathroom was a good size for someone in a wedding dress. - very manageable. Cost effective compared to other venues. If we ever need a venue similar for another function, we will not hesitate coming back here. Funny thing is my son has been here for a previous work function, and he had said it was great then as well.

We highly recommended the Gardens Club as a function and wedding space. It was a great location for our ceremony on the lawn and cocktail reception at the cottage. The deck area and inside space was perfect size and layout for a variety of space options. Great location for a variety of photos in gardens and area. Jess was fabulous to work with and super accommodating with site visits, early bump ins etc.It felt more like a family business rather than a big event venue, and a bonus was it was very cost effective. We recently held our wedding ceremony & reception at The Gardens Club in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. We loved the venue after our first visit and found the pricing to be very competitive & liked the ethos of the company as the use profits to train refugees in hospitality. Jess Marsellos was great to deal with & patient with our many questions & visits. They really work with you to make the process go smoothly & we are happy with how everything turned out on the day. We would highly recommend The Gardens Club to others looking for lovely garden venue in the heart of the city.

Besides being such a beautiful venue, I chose this venue due to the fabulous event coordinator Jess. She was so friendly and helpful making the organisation of my wedding such a breeze. I was so so happy with how everything came together thanks to her. I love the greenery of the botanical gardens with the city backdrop. The tables and chairs along with the beautiful heritage listed building made this the perfect venue.

My wife and I had our ceremony + cocktail style reception for roughly 40 people and we couldn’t have picked a better venue. Jess was incredibly helpful and genuinely excited for us and it made all the difference in the lead up and on the day. The venue itself both inside and outside is filled with so much charm, and the location feels like you’re in the rainforest while actually being in the heart of the CBD. And it’s worth mentioning that we were completely welcomed as a gay couple - I know this is something that can be daunting for LGBT couples when looking for venues and suppliers. Our day was totally magical and we would 100% recommend this venue to future couples.
