Megan & Tom Reid founded The Garden Bar & Kitchen in 2019, fulfilling their dream of creating a top-tier restaurant and wedding venue on the Mid North Coast. With Megan's roots in South West Rocks and Tom's from England, they returned to the stunning coastal region to build their family and business. The Old Shed where the ceremony is held, is completely weatherproof.

The Restaurant where the reception is held is completely weatherproof.

Ceremony: Lunch: 11am, Evening 4pm
Reception: Lunch 12pm – 4pm, Evening 5pm – 11pm

Event bump in is available from 9:00am the day of your event and must be completed two hours prior to the start of your event. Bump out must be completed by 10am the day following your event or as negotiated with The Garden Bar.

Last drinks 30 minutes before the end of the event.

The pork belly bites and arancini balls were a huge hit amongst the guest.The entire event was smoothly executed, reflecting exceptional value for the investment. OUTSTANDING CONSISTENCY IN FOOD, SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE. SO MUCH SO WE HAD OUR STUNNING WEDDING HERE…. Meg, you and your team were so accommodating, nothing was a trouble and you truly went above and beyond to make sure not only our wedding day, but the lead up was seamless. We had our wedding at the Garden bar and could not have made a better decision! Megan, our wedding coordinator, made planning the wedding so easy, from our first contact she gave me a video tour of the venue and had answers for questions I hadn't even considered yet! She also supplied us with lists for all the local vendors, which especially was a huge help for us as we spent most of the wedding planning overseas in Canada. Whenever we needed to talk to her she was available to discuss all the small details and made sure we stayed on track. On the day Megan and Tom made sure everything went perfectly so we could just enjoy the day and spend time with all of our guests, we all had so much fun! The Garden Bar is in such a beautiful location, overlooking the river, we were able to take some stunning wedding photos! The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was exceptional. If you are looking for a wedding venue then look no further!!

The Garden Bar is the most perfect venue, we just held our wedding there and everything was so wonderful. The atmosphere is beautiful to coincide with there delicious food that they serve. The staff are just so great, nothing was an issue for Megan and Tom to make sure our day ran smoothly. They even set up and packed down our wedding! Could not recommend this place enough whether your looking to hold a function our just go for a delicious meal.
