About

Growing up in a family who loved to entertain and prepare home-cooked meals, Rod was destined to work in the hospitality industry. Inspired by his business savvy parents, Rod’s natural passion for food and dining came to life. In 2005, Rod set out to start his next business venture in a country setting. Discovering an old milking shed nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Zonzo was established. In 2015, Rod acquired the surrounding vineyard on 300 acres, renaming this property Zonzo Estate

Zonzo is an absolutely stunning venue with many options available to you. Reveals and Ceremonies possible in their architecturally designed chapel, in the barrel room or on the grass in front of the vines. Options for stand up cocktail or sit down dinner in various settings to suit your style. Their grounds and surroundings for photos are simply breathtaking and forever memorable. The Zonzo wedding coordinators are there to assist and support you right from when you first meet to the big day... they never rest! Zonzo was absolutely incredible. The whole team there were so very organised and helpful, and made the entire process very easy and completely stress-free. As soon as we stepped foot onto this property, we both fell in love and knew we had to get married here. The staff were amazing and helped us through every step. For us, the most important thing was food, and the Italian share table went above and beyond. Everyone commented on how delicious it was and how much there was. Getting married here was the best decision we made.

When in the timeline should we do a father daughter dance?

Hi There,

It is completely up to you both!

We find most couples like to get the special dances out of the way at the start of the night.

So after you have done your bridal introduction its nice to head straight to the dance floor and either begin with your first dance followed by father daughter dance or actually start with the father daughter dance (which we find is a special touch) followed by your first dance, as your dad can then hand you over to your lovely Groom waiting for you off to the side.
