Yes we are very flexible to allow you to decorate to suit your personal taste. As we are heritage listed, no items can be fixed to the roof or ceiling

Are you licensed to provide alcohol service? If so, is alcohol priced per person? By consumption?

Our beverage packages start at $60.00 per person, with our premium selection at $120.00 per person. Alternately, you are welcome to charge your beverages on consumption and select items from our lists that meet your tastes and price point.

What is the food cost on a per-person basis?

$80.00 per person for a Cocktail style reception $90.00 per person for Canapes + a 3 Course Alternate served meal

Can we do a food tasting prior to finalising our menu selection? If so, is there an additional charge?

Yes Menu tasting is included in the overall venue hire for the Bride & Groom.

Is there a cake-cutting fee?

No additional charge for cutting & serving of your Wedding Cake. Your choice of either serving your cake on platters to each table or placing in bags/boxes for your guests to take home

Are there restrictions on what kind of music I can play, or a time by which the music must end? Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?

You are welcome to organise your own music of any kind, so long as the bass is kept at a minimum level as we are a residential hotel. Music must conclude at 11pm.

What overnight accommodations do you provide? Do you offer a discount for wedding guests?

Chateau Yering Hotel has 32 accommodation suites and a discount is offered to all Wedding guests who choose to stay.

Chateau Yering Hotel can accommodate indoor weddings for up to 130 guests, with no set minimum. We also have extensive lawn space and the ability to host larger weddings in an outdoor marquee.

We offer both indoor and outdoor options for your wedding ceremony. As we only book one wedding per day, we have the flexibility to relocate if the weather is too hot/cold or windy. Final decision is made 24 hours prior.

We were married at Chateau Yering in April 2015 and were so happy! This is such a stunning venue and I can't wait to stay there again for our anniversaries in years to come! Great wedding venue in a historic hotel with beautiful gardens and rooms. We had our wedding outdoors. Amazing photos. It was lovely having everything you could need onsite and then all the family could stay with at the hotel afterwards. Everyone found the food and wine delicious as well. They are very reasonably priced for the Valley as well. We also found Lauren, the lovely events manager, was very flexible which was great. We did have a few hiccups with the person filling in for Lauren while she was on maternity leave but this would not be an ongoing issue. My only advice for future couples is overbook how many rooms you want kept aside for you so others don't book them!

Beverages can be charged on consumption, or for a package its $60 per person
