The gorgeous Wool Mill can accommodate up to 200 guests for a glamorous, urban wedding experience. 

 

What time does the venue close? 

The Wool Mill closes at midnight on Friday and Saturday, 11pm on Thursday and Sunday, and 10pm on all other days.

FAQ

You will be introduced to our planning and styling team (also known as The Goodsmiths) immediately. They will manage all of your wedding team, your custom budget, as well as runsheets, full styling/vision as well as wedding logistics. This way you can sit back and enjoy the fun stuff. Think of them as your architects and interior designers building your wedding from start to finish.

Not a problem! As long as you meet our package minimum spends. For example, if you had another photographer in mind, you can use them for your day and allocate that photography spend toward extra special and lush florals.

Our curfew on Fri / Sat is midnight. So, this means we’d call last drinks at 10.45pm for an 11pm close of drinks. This then gives us an hour to slowly wrap up and get guests thinking about leaving. Music would also need to wind down at 11pm.

Good question! Children really only affect the food and beverage costings and I’ll explain the options:

Children between 0-3 (who would not need a place setting at a table or need a meal) are free.

Children between 3-17 (who would have a seat at a dining table and a meal but no alcohol) are discounted 50%.

We can recommend a few videographers. If you have a budget in mind please let us know. Videographer’s prices range from $1,800-$5,000, so I’d like to suggest options that would be best suited.

We work with a team of DJs and take you through a questionnaire and then, based on what you like / don’t like, we assign a DJ that matches your profile. So you let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll find someone perfect for you!

No clean up costs, removal costs or bump outs here at Nudo! That’s all for us to worry about!

We have a 95db limit on sound at the venue which is more than enough to have a great party but not so loud as to wake the dead! Most bands operate around 85db and DJs are less.

Our Planning and Styling team curate your unique wedding experience. They build your dream day covering off the administrative aspects, while also transforming The Wool Mill to be a space that reflects your love story. Taking that admin burden off you, to deliver you a completely seamless event that looks like your Pinterest dreams. You may not think you need them now but by the end of your journey, you’ll be thanking your lucky stars you had them!

You organised busy bee! That is totally fine. The stationery allocation in the package can be used toward your on-the-day stationery pieces such as menus, welcome signs and seating charts - or move the stationery allocation toward a different area completely (such as adding to your custom floral quote with our in-house florists).

The Wool Mill was incredible. The venue, the team... EVERYTHING was amazing. My wife and i had a pretty awful experience with another venue during Covid and ultimately ended up cancelling our wedding with them and moving over to The Wool Mill. The team were supportive, flexible and absolute legends. If you want to have a stress free wedding and have someone real help you along the way, The Wool Mill is the venue for you. Ehblin, Kate and the team at The Wool Mill were absolute life savers when we needed to find a bigger venue for our wedding reception to allow for all of our guests to attend under Covid restrictions. We had originally planned to have our wedding out in the countryside, but if we had been looking for an urban venue I would have jumped on this place in a heartbeat from the very beginning! The team were fantastic to deal with from the very first email, supportive and helpful and on the day keeping everything running smoothly (I basically didn't have to worry about a thing venue wise on the day!). The space is absolutely beautiful, light and bright and open, and so many of our guests now have profile pictures from that day because of the beautiful backgrounds!

The Wool Mill was an absolute standout from the beginning. The ability to seamlessly move through the gorgeous separate spaces throughout the night from our ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was so easy for us and our guests. Our wedding planners Jasmine and Katie made sure every i was dotted and t was crossed, our creative stylist Dave made sure everything looked perfect, and our gorgeous on the day coordinator Coby was just the kind of person you want there for you every step of the way. Food and drink were delicious and the staff were lovely.
