Yes. A cakeage fee of $2.50 per person will only apply if we are required to cut the cake. We suggest BYO plastic plates and forks if you want to minimse this cost.

WHAT TIME CAN I ACCESS THE SPACE?

The space can be accessed anytime from 5pm for set up. A small labour fee may apply to provide early access. Cakes etc can be dropped off anytime between 8am and 4pm

There are several food packages to browse, depending on your style and needs. Made with locally-sourced ingredients, you can expect nothing less than delicious flavours and quality recipes. From Kingfish tartare and grilled Prawn mini bahn mi to Wagyu beef sliders, you'll be spoilt for choice! They also offer gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options.

Great venue for less traditional Weddings, and there is a large outdoor area for your guests as well as indoor space. Ceremony can be onsight, late afternoon or using nearby CBD churches or parkland.

No, but there is a minimum spend of $4000 (food, beverage and deposit combined).

My partner Adem and I had our engagement party at the Lux Foundry. We couldn’t be happier with the venue, such an iconic space. The food was delicious and plentiful, all our guests were super impressed. The professionalism and efficiency of the staff was outstanding. We had a night to remember forever. Our cocktail wedding at Lux Foundry was absolutely amazing and we cannot thank the team enough for making our day perfect in October this year. Stunning venue, delicious food, lovely staff and everything ran super smoothly so even now, we still have family and friends compliment on how much they enjoyed the night especially when I had so much faith and even booked it before visiting the venue. We also loved the flexibility provided as an event space since we were able to personalize our wedding with the bits we wanted i.e. with decorations, hiring an external photobooth and food & drinks menu tailored to the dietary requirements of our guests. Would highly recommend Lux Foundry for those who are after a modern, fun & easy wedding at a beautiful heritage venue and brought to life within budget.

We decided to have our wedding party at Lux and we couldn't be happier with our decision. It was the perfect size for our 100 guests. The food was next level with literally everyone commenting on how amazing it was. Ben went out of his way to ensure all dietary requirements were accommodated, even creating off menu dishes to ensure people were well fed. All the staff on the night were legendary. The sound system was great. The outdoor area was also a popular hangout with the heating keeping people warm on the cold night. We had such a special night and highly recommend Lux as an awesome venue that captures the vibe of Brunswick to a tee!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The Lux Foundry was the first venue we went to see and we knew it was the place to be. The night was a major success and the guests couldn’t say more good things about the food! A very special shout out to Ben! Ben’s friendly, funny and relaxed vibe immediately had a positive impact. Ben took the time to answer any questions we had but above all, provided me with a realistic and practical view of what the night will look like whilst incorporating where flexibility can be accommodated.
