Chiswick Restaurant Sydney can accommodate up to 40 guests in the intimate private dining room, up to 76 guests in the main dining room, and up to 116 guests for exclusive use events and weddings.

As the Art Gallery of New South Wales closes at 5.00pm, we are able to commence your reception to start from 6.00pm - 11.00pm, or should you wish to host your ceremony with us, ceremony from 6.00 - 6.30pm followed by your reception until 11.30pm.
You’re welcome to extend until midnight at the latest; this must be booked in advance. Venue hire is an additional $500 per half hour, as well as a $10 per person wedding package extension.
We can offer your suppliers access to the Restaurant Function space from 4.00pm, and access to the Restaurant from 5.00pm, however your dedicated wedding planner will liaise with your suppliers to coordinate this on your behalf.
We offer a complimentary bump out for 1 hour, additional charges will apply for extended bump out.
We can certainly cater to dietary requirements; we do ask that you provide these requirements along with your final numbers 14 days prior. These are tailored by the chef on the day to suit your guest’s requirements.
Our wedding planners would be happy to tailor a bespoke wedding package for you as we understand that everyone has different desires for their wedding day.
Upon confirming your reception with Chiswick at the Gallery, we will issue an event agreement at which time you will have 7 days to sign and return with a 20% deposit. A further 50% deposit is required go days prior, and full prepayment will be due 14 days prior to your wedding reception.
As we are located within the Art Gallery of New South Wales, we do have limitations regarding
styling. Due to surrounding artworks, we do have some limitations regarding styling, such as we do not permit any open flames or balloons, and do require all florals to be sprayed with Insecticide. We do require all styling to be approved by the Gallery before your wedding.
Metered parking is available out the front of the gallery; however, we do recommend parking in the Domain carpark which offers a flat rate on weekends. Please note the carpark does close at midnight.
As our menus do change seasonally, your dedicated wedding planner will arrange a date approximately 6 weeks prior to your wedding for your tasting to ensure you are able to taste our latest menu offering.
Additional guests are always welcome; the charge would be $145 per person.
Wedding packages do incur a 20% surcharge for public holiday dates. An additional venue hire would also be applicable.
At the Art Gallery of New South Wales, we only host weddings outside of the Art Gallery opening hours of 10.00am - 5.00pm, and offer exclusive use of the venue for your wedding.
