OVERVIEW

Are you on the hunt for a garden wedding venue in Sydney where you can host an outdoor ceremony and a relaxed open-air reception? Centennial Homestead ticks all of the right boxes when it comes to parkland weddings in an accessible city location. It’s one of a kind wedding venue that allows you to celebrate surrounded by natural landscapes or host an indoor banquet if you prefer.

Centennial Homestead’s Kitchen and Wisteria Room are decorated in a desirable Hamptons-style aesthetic, with wraparound glass windows that look out onto the lawns. The events team have also curated a beautiful selection of nature-inspired styling pieces, which are welcome to use on your wedding day, or you can bring in alternative suppliers. Centennial Homestead is a versatile canvas to create the wedding day you’ve always imagined.

Couples often opt to marry outside in one of the ten ceremony spots, such as the tranquil lakeside location or immersed in the lush pine forest. Afterwards, the Trippas White Group will serve a magnificent meal that’s specific to you and your guests’ dietary requirements and preferences. Centennial Homestead weddings always exceed expectations and create memories that last a lifetime.

Top three things you’ll love about your Centennial Homestead Sydney wedding:

  • Vast array of ceremony options. There aren’t many Sydney wedding venues that have such a diverse range of ceremony spots. At Centennial Homestead, you can marry in either of the two event spaces or by the lake, the forest or out on the rolling lawns — it’s up to you.
  • Versatile venue. Both event spaces are large, open-plan and light-filled. Fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and pared-back wooden floors, there’s enough room for dinner, dancing and entertainment all in one space.
  • Delicious catering menus. Centennial Homestead has partnered with the Trippas White Group to offer beautiful varied cuisine, from artistic canapes to three-course main meals and dessert stations. They cater for all dietary requirements and tastes.

FAQ

Evening receptions are completely private with just your friends and family!

Centennial has a prepaid spirits menu which is a more cost effective way to provide spirits at your wedding and also ask our event team about how to best structure your beverage selection throughout your reception.

We have the Paddington gates open always, and we can provide you with a map should you wish to include this in your invitations.

By adding elements that are unique to you as a couple, sometimes this can be reflected in the entertainment or the food and beverage theming. Most importantly creating a day that suits you is what our Events team is here to achieve!

YES! There are additional fees depending on your menu selection but we would love to meet you all J

February 2019

The team at Centennial Homestead were amazing, they really helped pull our dream wedding together and we didn't hear a single peep of anything going wrong. All of the guests raved about the service, food and atmosphere and said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. They answered all of my questions super quickly and were able to accommodate so many little requests.

I would 100% recommend Centennial Homestead for your wedding reception. Aline was extremely helpful in the lead up to organise everything. On the night the food was absolutely delicious (had numerous guests say 'best ever'), the staff were attentive and in good spirits and everything went perfectly.

I highly recommend centennial homestead for a wedding venue. Venue is stunning located inside centennial park. Staff is friendly, professional and very organized. You will get your own case manager and he/she will help you out through the wedding planning. All our guests loved the food and drinks provided at our wedding day. Overall we had a blast and can’t thank enough the staff at homestead for making it a very special night for us. Thankyou!

Two hours gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception.. is this acceptable?

Centennial Homestead

YES - but give your guests some options between this time should they not want to return home.

I'm considering a midweek or friday/sunday wedding... Should I?

Please help! Is it worth the savings to have a day other than saturday?

Centennial Homestead

Absolutely - Its 2017 and anything goes so why not make it memorable ?

We have had a genuine increase in peak season of mid week and Sunday lunch receptions - You can enjoy reduced minimum spends - better spring summer flowers - nicer weather and who's friends are really not willing to take a day off ??

How do I choose the right sized venue for 100 guests?

Do you have any tips on how to choose the right sized venue for this number of guests?

Centennial Homestead

There really is no right or wrong here as tiny rooms can feel much larger with lots of windows and huge rooms can feel tiny with out any -

It really comes down to the runsheet and style of reception(cocktail or plated)and if you aniticpate having lots of formatlities speeches etc you need to keep everyone together , if you are having only Canapes and grazing stations people will roam and it may not feel cramped and lastly spring summer your guests will want toenjoy the outdoors so perhaps factoring in outside lawn games will reduce teh number of guests inside simultaneously
