About

Food and wine has always been a passion of mine. For me, matching wine and food comes down to flavour. It is about the 'weight' or intensity of flavour in the food and how that combines with the flavours of the wine. My sister and I opened a very small and humble restaurant at our winery a few decades ago, one of the first in WA. This sparked something in me that led to the opening of our shop on St Georges Tce, then the famous East Perth restaurant, and so it grew from there.
