Yes, all of our wedding packages include a complimentary night stay for the bride and groom on the night of their wedding in a one-bedroom apartment (subject to availability at the time of booking). Additionally, the bride and groom can enjoy a complimentary full buffet breakfast for two and a 1 pm late check-out.
The capacity of our venues varies depending on the style of wedding you desire. For a cocktail reception, our Neptuna and Mavie Room can comfortably hold up to 100 people. If you prefer a sit-down style, these rooms can accommodate 5 round tables of up to 10 guests each, along with a traditional bridal table, leaving enough space for a 9x9 panel dance floor.
Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions, Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront does not allow guests to bring their own food or drinks of any kind. However, exceptions can be made for wedding cakes and bonbonnieres with prior written approval.
Yes, Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront would be delighted to offer discounted accommodation rates for all confirmed weddings at the hotel. Guests can use a provided link or rate code to book their accommodation and take advantage of a discount on the best available rate of the day.
Our function spaces are located indoors and undercover, making them ideal for weddings or events throughout the year, including the Darwin wet season. We also have a backup ceremony location available in case of inclement weather during the wet season.
To request ceremonies or events on the Waterfront lawns, you need to submit your application through the Darwin Waterfront Corporation (DWC) using the Outdoor Event Site Hire Application Form, which is available on the DWC website.
