Here at St Bernards Hotel we are honoured that you would include us in your wedding plans and we will be pleased to assist in creating your perfect wedding.

Dating back to the 1800's, the St Bernards Hotel is Tamborine’s oldest and most famous pub. The building itself is surrounded by ten acres of beautiful, rambling gardens with an abundance of exotic plants and flowers including a waterfall, creek and a decades old swimming pool that now serves as a duck pond.

There are sensational views over Guanaba Gorge from the large back deck or the main dining room.

St Bernards Hotel offers the ultimate in relaxed garden ceremonies, or for a more formal setting, our Siganto Gallery is an elegant alternative.

Our friendly and professional catering team take great pride in all of our provisions be it food, beverage and of course, service!

We will personalise your menu from cocktail style, buffet or plated dining options at any time of the day to ensure your wedding lives up to all your dreams and exceed your expectations.

The adjacent Tamborine Motel offers high quality accommodation and country hospitality for your guests.

Hello my name is Bec and as cliché as it sounds I absolutely LOVE everything about weddings! I have a passion for organising events, arranging seating charts and having timelines down to the minute but having the flexibility to change any detail of the wedding at a moments notice. I love having things run smoother than a crystal clear lake you could say. I became a Wedding Co-ordinator here 4 years ago after leaving the retail industry and I'm so glad I did. I'd love to chat about your plans!

Abosultely we do!

Three things we can't control on your wedding day...Kids, Animals & the WEATHER!

So we have a beautiful back up plan on hosting your ceremony in our Grande Marquee.  I have never had a wedding in the past 4 years that has never not been able to go outside to get their desired garden photos to add to their collection.  The wet weather also brings about a mist that travels through the mountains to add that extra charm into the mix.

You won't be disappointed if it rains on your wedding day

We have a long tradition dating back to 1911 where St Bernards Dogs have lived on premises. 

This means that we don't allow furbabies to come to the Hotel unfortunately.  However our dogs can be included in your speaical day to mark your celebration of St Bernards hosting your special day!

We special in customising our wedding packages to suit your needs.

Our Buffet menu (Alpine Package)  does however require a minimum of 20 guests.

Our luxury 3 bedroom lodge is perfect for the Bridal Party to get ready and it's on site.

Your guests have the convenience of the Mt Tamborine Motel for accommodation as they are located within walking disctance and right next to the Hotel.  They can be contacted on (07) 5545 0088.

You can opt to have whatever amount your budget suits.  We also have drinks packages available or we can offer a cash bar for your guests

Food is our Jam! - Pun intended

We offer tastings in a group setting where you can discuss menu ideas and taste one specific chosen menu with other couples and your family. 

There is a small additional fee for this.

Rebecca (wedding planner) was great to work with. Communication was good and she replied to emails quickly. Nothing was ever too much to ask. The location is beautiful too with different options for ceremony/reception.

We are so happy with how our wedding day went at St Bernards! The venue was beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather to see the amazing views throughout the day! The new head chef did a fabulous job with all the food, not only for the reception but canapes during our cocktail hour. The most amazing thing that we got out of this venue was the wedding coordinator - Rebecca! She made the whole planning process fantastic, helping us all the way up to and during the day of. Rebecca made sure we knew exactly what was happening, and was receptive to basically any requests we made. Then on the actual wedding day, she helped everything run so smoothly, helping us individually before the ceremony and then throughout the rest of the day. Thank you so much Bec for making our day so special!!

Wonderful, casual venue and beautiful scenery. The gardens are in bloom all year round so the photos are always gorgeous. Bec is a wonderful wedding coordinator too! Would highly recommend, it was an amazing day and all the guests were very happy with the venue.

Yes we do.

We offer a full menu tasting to our couples preferred choice (ie. buffet, alternate drop or cokctail) where they can sample the entire menu and choose their food.
