King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre (owned/run by Nicole & Ryan) was the PERFECT setting for our recent wedding. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the property was. Nicole and Ryan are the most beautiful, genuine people. Nicole was so quick and helpful in her responses to all our emails and questions, while Ryan was an absolute champion over our three-day wedding, staying onsite to help out wherever we needed. We felt so taken care of, as people rather than as customers. All the cottages and the reception hall were 5 star: so rustic, beautiful and peaceful. We absolutely LOVED the whole property and will be recommending to anyone getting married as well as anyone wanting a cute cottage to holiday in.

Nicole and Ryan at King Parrot were amazing to deal with. They were great with communicating in the lead up to the wedding and answered all of our questions quickly. The venue itself is stunning and all our guests raved about the cottages and hall where the reception was held. Ryan was such an immense help on the day of the wedding and helped setting up the ceremony space and driving people around in the Polaris who were less mobile. We couldn’t have pulled it off without their help and we are very grateful! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a scenic wedding location.

King parrot is an exceptionally beautiful and well maintained venue, with its sweeping view across the valley, to the densely magical forests. The variety of landscapes are endless. They provided the perfect backdrop for our autumn wedding. It also allowed our family and friends a weekend of exploring mother natures gifts. King parrot is unlike most venues, in more than just one way. When we booked for our wedding, we were booking over 200 acres of land including the 6 lodges for friends and family to stay the entire weekend to enjoy the festivities and time spent together. The hall & main lodge made the perfect canvas for our creative DIY wedding ideas to come to life. And the best part of all was the diverse range of cute farm animals on the property. King Parrots owners (Nicole & Ryan) provided the most amazing assistance throughout our whole wedding process.

Nicole and Ryan helped make our day smooth and effortless! They had great communication and lots of experience in hosting weddings, and were extremely helpful. The venue is extremely beautiful, and it was very useful having our guests being able to stay at the same location. The cottages are gorgeous, and the camping is very comfortable with the permanent tents. Highly recommend for any wedding!
