Do you have decoration items available for hire?

We have many props available for your use within the hire price. This includes tressel tables, bentwood chairs, bench seating, glassware, plates, candle holders and candles and some fairy lights. We have other many other items available on request. Any damage to these items will incur a replacement fee and the cost will vary depending on the item.

Do you have a wedding planner/stylist?

We can assist with your wedding planning and styling if you would like. We also have some great people who we work with that we are happy to recommend.

Can I organise my own caterer?

At Butlers Lane Vineyard we pride ourselves on partnering with professional suppliers who can provide a wide variety of tailor made menus using local seasonal fresh produce. Our preferred caterers work closely with us and are familiar with the property. After your deposit is made, the chef will assist you in designing your menu and offer a food tasting. We have also partnered with a food truck who can also provide a wide selection on their menu. If there is a special request for a caterer, please discuss with us.

No, we do not have BYO drinks. We offer 3 tiers of alcohol packaging, we can also design a Butlers cocktail, and samples of your choices are available. Bar staff are provided.

Do you have wet weather contingency?

Yes. Our large deck is undercover, suitable for your ceremony or set up for dining. There is also a gazebo providing shade for the hot weather or protection from rain. Inside our function room, your ceremony can be set up having a white wall backdrop, perfect for arbour, hoop or floral displays and also have room for cocktails, sitdown dining and dancing.

Do you have accommodation or space for the bride to get ready?

Yes, we have a bridal suite which can be used for the bridal party to get ready, consisting of sitting room, bedroom and ensuite. The bride and groom can stay the night for a small fee. Around Glenlyon there are many Air bnb accommodation places so guests can stay close by and of course a plethora of accommodation options in Daylesford (10 minutes away).

What are some added features of the venue?

Our venue has a fire pit, disabled bathroom as well as a microphone and speaker system available for use.

Can we throw confetti?

We allow the use of rose or flower petals only, however are unable to allow the use of glitter or confetti.

After living in Melbourne and raising our family, we decided to have a change of pace. We found Butlers Lane Vineyard down a quiet country road and were immediately aware of how much potential this property offered. With 5 years of hard work it is transformed into a beautiful hidden gem in the Daylesford surrounds. We have had family and friends events and weddings here - after such amazing feedback we decided to open to the public to enjoy our special place also.

Butlers Lane Vineyard is the most amazing place - my wife and I got married there recently and we could not be any happier having chosen this place as our wedding venue. There are so many picturesque locations on the ground, from the lake (where we had our ceremony), to the vineyards, to the long driveway, to the bridge, to the small private 'secret' garden - it was just one picture perfect moment after another. The fact that this place was dog friendly and allowed us to bring along our cavoodle was the cherry on top. There is also a lovely accommodation on site in "The Loft". What really made this such a great experience was the amazing service and hospitality from Rosie and Grant on site. They helped to make sure the day ran smoothly, and Rosie was always prompt in responding to any email queries I had. Amazing!

We are so happy we chose to get married at Butlers Lane Vineyard. It was the perfect location for an intimate wedding and Rosie was so accomodating and helpful in getting everything set up for the day. There was so many choices for where to hold the ceremony and with a beautiful summer night we were so grateful to hold our reception dinner along the deck under the lights, overlooking the lake. There were so many spots for beautiful photos as well and our wedding photos have turned out so well as a result. 4 months have passed and we continue to get kind words from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, couldn't recommend Butlers Lane Vineyard more!

Butlers Lane Vineyard is a stunning venue. My fiance and I were looking for a venue that was beautiful and could cater a ceremony and reception. Butlers Lane delivered in leaps and bounds. Rosie was very easy to work with and he suggestions on vendors was extremely helpful. The grounds caters so much for photos, beautiful areas to get married in as well as giving you a very personal wedding. i highly recommend this venue for its price, beauty and ease of organising.
