We had our wedding reception at Burnt Orange in November 2019 and it was utterly superb! It was the first and only venue we visited; we didn't need to go anywhere else. Tabitha, Kevin and the team were so helpful, flexible and took the time to understand what we wanted and worked with us in great detail to make it happen. Many guests said it was up there with the best weddings they've been to, and I know that's in large part due to how attentive the staff on the night were, how delicious the food was, what great ambience the venue has, and how fabulously Tabitha does what she does. Our whole-venue booking worked so well: starting downstairs with canapés and then moving to the upstairs balcony, with the lounge also available as a space for guests who wanted space or didn't fancy dancing to relax and talk.

Burnt Orange ensured a fabulous day for us! We had a beautiful summer wedding (about 100 guests) in such a gorgeous location. The signals room was a great venue for pre-drinks before going upstairs to the balcony for dinner and dancing. Having the dance floor in the center meant it quickly filled when the music started and it stayed that way! Food was delicious - especially the chicken and great drinks selection. Tabitha (Burnt Orange event coordinator) was fantastic in the lead up to the day, she was flexible and laid back allowing us to personalise our day just the way we wanted it! She made the process very stress free. The staff on the night were friendly - Kevin and his team did a great job. Thank you so much for making our day so memorable. So many of the guests commented on what an excellent venue it was!

My husband and I reviewed a few venues that were local to us as we felt it was important that we could find something that was close to us as well as our friends and family without them having to pay for accommodation. The team at Burnt Orange, Mosman were incredible especially with the assistance from Tabitha who runs the event side of things. We cannot recommend Burnt Orange highly enough. Tabitha and the team were so accommodating and easy to work with. In the lead up to our wedding in Jan 2022, we had concerns for COVID-19 and wanted to minimise the risk for our guests, particularly older relatives. We worked with Tabitha to rearrange our seating plans at the last minute - she made it work. On the morning of our wedding, my sister-in-law accidentally dropped the cake she had made for our wedding. It completely split in half. The chefs at Burnt Orange gave her a section of the kitchen and helped her put it back together. We were all so grateful. We ended up having the most amazing day, so many of our guests commented on the delicious food and beautiful venue, and told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Highly recommend.

What should the timeline be for a cocktail only reception. The party will be 4 hours

We are having a cocktail reception at a wine bar in Las Vegas and would like to get a timeline of events. Reception is from 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served, along with cake and champagne for the toast. Help

This really depends on the package you have chosen. Canapes are typically served at regular intervals so if you are having speeches, cake cutting and a toast you may want to schedule these around the canape service. The timeline is entirely up to you and I would suggest doing your toast a little later if this will be done with the cake cutting. Cake is best served after the canapes as your desset or sweet treat. Enjoy Vegas!

Do we need to have an Engagement Party??

We have been engaged for over a year now and everyone that we would invite to the engagement party already know we are engaged, so is there any point in holding one??

How bad are Sunday night weddings?

I'm planning a Sunday night wedding, but am concerned about guests who may need to work the next day. How are Sunday night weddings usually run? Unfortunately a brunch/lunch wedding doesn't really work for our venue.

Wedding guests who are eager to celebrate with the happy couple will always make it a wonderful experience, regardless of time or place. Sundays are not a popular choice for us but we will always do our best to acommodate a celebration.
