OVERVIEW
A family-run estate, there’s something inherently charming about The Apple Farm. With rows of grapevines and apple trees on the two-hectare property, this stunning wedding venue boasts rustic elements that evoke a sense of relaxed country elegance. The main reception area is a gorgeous peaked-ceiling room with textured rugs, wine barrels, and timber accents. Guests immediately feel at home in this spacious area and can step out to enjoy the country air on the attached verandah & glory vine roof.
Looking out at the manicured lawns, you’ll discover the perfect ceremony location, the vines at your back. A wooden arbour with floral decor is a perfect touch to this outdoor affair, and the venue supplies furniture, wine barrels, and other basic decoration. The Apple Farm’s ceremonies start at $650, with reception hire a further $900. That includes all setup and pack down, staff attending to your guests, up to six meetings ahead of your wedding day, and an experienced wedding planner who will help you coordinate the day.
"The owners are genuinely interested in making your experience at the Apple Farm unique and special and go the extra mile to accommodate. I have been there for a range of functions, both personally and professionally and never been disappointed." Caroline

FAQ
For a sit down meal, 110 is probably our maximum- but that is FULL. Not a lot of room left for other stations like cake, gifts, DJ, Photobooths etc. 80 is a good, comfortable number.
Sure- we can do more- but we'll need to be creative with our seating plan {which wehave experience in!} Best we have this chat in person, at the farm, so that we can have a visual.
The short of it- is that if you have more than 80- I'll try and convince you to go with our stand up canape & woodfired pizza option, with casual seating around the venue.
BTW- We are licensed for 200 guests.
Look- there's no best time. I love ALL the seasons. When spring comes along I think- oh- I love Spring the best- then Summer and Autumn come along and I think- no- this is the best season. Then dreary old winter comes along- and again- I think how magic it is at this time of year.
Apple season is Feb-May and apple blossoms are usually mid-late October. As far as weather goes- its unpredictable.
Feb & March are probably the most popular months for 'hot/dry' weather.
Generally Oct-April is our high season for weddings. But in saying that- some of my favourite celebrations here were in winter- with smaller more intimate groups.
I can't be bias for seasons- I LOVE THEM ALL- for different reasons.
CAN I WHAT!!!!
We are blessed with so many talented people in this region. I have compiled a 'FRIENDS OF THE FARM' list. These are local vendors that we value and trust. I can recommend you hire these people to help make your event super special. Feel free to ask them if they have an special deal for any apple farm guests. They may, they may not. But trust me when I tell you that they will not disappoint.
SOOOO MUCH STUFF!
We have chairs, arbours, vases, glass and wooden plates and bowls. Props for grazing & sweets tables. Signing tables & chairs for the ceremony. We have rugs and wine barrels and timber furniture galore. We have so much stuff that the list goes on and on.
Its best that you come out to the farm and check it out for yourself.
There are certain things that we don't supply- like table clothes, white chairs for the ceremony, fairy lights, candles & vases. But what works the best- is when you come with your vision & styling ideas- and I have things that we can add for a little extra pizzazz.
You get a day before the wedding to do your set up. Generally, the day before is set up & rehearsal day. Unless of course we have a function on the day before. If this is the case itmay be a day or two prior to your wedding day.
This will be discussed with you beforehand & coordinated with all your vendors so that we are all on the same page.
Pack up is usually done on the night or the day after- but again- we will have open communication regarding this.

Hi, we are looking to elope. Most packages we’ve seen for venues come with a celebrant and photographer. We’d like my partners brother to perform the ceremony but as he isn’t a registered celebrant we had looked at doing the legal bits during the week at the registry office. We also don’t require a photographer as we already have one from previous events we’d like to use again. Most elopement packages come with both of these things as a must have inclusion. Any suggestions??

Hi Emma,
I'm very happy to inform you that as a function venue- we don't have 'elopements packages' where you have to use certain vendors- however I am very well connected in our region, if you would like a celebrant to assist you with the legals, or flowers, or cakes or whatever.
We will charge you the necessary fee's based on how elaborate your elopement for set up and hire {arbours, chairs, fairy lights etc.}. Often just a deposit {refundable after the event- credited to bar/food}, as well as the reception hire fee..... but this is negoitable.
