Halfway between Sydney & Brisbane, only 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour airport. The Cubana offers a convenient destination that can be hired exclusively, for wedding guests to celebrate your special day, or the whole weekend!
The Cubana Resort offers a unique, versatile wedding venue, whether you're planning a formal, romantic wedding, or a stylish yet relaxed beach wedding, The Cubana Resort is a perfect backdrop. A spacious, level grass area allows for an easy set up for guest seating and there is an abundance of scenery for photo opportunities around the 5 acres of gardens. In case of inclement weather, our separat bar area can be sectioned off and decorated with wedding curtains, an arbour and your own personal touches.
With bright pops of colour peering out from behind the venue’s picturesque, palm tree-dotted property, intimate garden nooks, and an impressive bar and restaurant, this venue really has it all. Not to mention the glamorous velvet lounges, festoon-lit deck, and fireplace for when you want added coziness.
The Cubana wedding packages are all-inclusive, with wedding parties having exclusive private use of the resort’s accommodation & Restaurant facilities. The Cubana creates truly private wedding experiences with personalised touches, restaurant is bright & spacious with pops of colour & sophistication.
You can host a pre-wedding pool party, or a post-wedding recovery breakfast, or both! Making the most of your exclusive time at the resort.
While the sun is setting enjoy our beautiful timber deck overlooking our lilypad filled pond & after dark the festoon lighting is pure magic. The Cubana & its grounds offer many intimate & interesting on day photographic opportunities.

My husband and I have owned and operated The Cubana Resort Nambucca Heads since 2019. In that time, we have undergone major renovations and have refurbished all rooms, reception and restaurant area, as well as introduced a gym and day spa.

Take your wedding to the New Souths Wales Mid North Coast! A venue exclusively for you, your friends & family with full use of all facilities including gym, spa pool & steam room. Bridal party and/or guests can visit the day spa for all your pre-event body preparation & pampering needs and we can organise a casual bbq or pool party the night prior to the big day. Think fire pits by the lake, festoon lights over the deck. Our outdoor garden by the lake is the perfect place for the ceremony, offering ample opportunity for wedding photos, or an indoor venue is available in the case of wet weather.

FAQ
Yes. You can choose to have both your ceremony and reception with us, or your ceremony can be held at one of the beautiful locations around Nambucca Heads that we would be happy to suggest for you.
Although having your ceremony in our garden area overlooking the lake is beautiful, sometimes the weather just doesn't suit. We have an alternative option for indoor ceremonies where we can zone an area with curtains to create a wedding backdrop. We would be happy to share images of previous weddings where this has been used,
Of course - that's what we do best! We can create a multi-day wedding exclusively for you, your family and your guests to enjoy all the spaces the resort has to offer - including gym, pool, spa, steam room and pool bar. We can organise a bbq or pool party the night prior, your bridal can have a pamper session in the day spa - options are endless. The best thing is, your nearest and dearest all get to meet each other prior to your big day, meaning everyone is relaxed and ready to enjoy your wedding.
