Yes, you have the freedom to work with the caterer of your choice. Waldara  welcomes all professional caterers. Your caterer will love working in our fully  equipped kitchen attached to the reception hall. Ask us for our recommended vendors list which contains a selection of high-quality catering options to suit a range of budgets and needs.

Yes, Waldara is a BYO venue, we just ask that all drinks are served by RSA service staff.

Spirits may be served for the canape hour in cocktail form (no shots). For the reception we ask, if you want an alternative to wine and beer that you provide canned pre-mixed drinks of no more the 5% alcohol content. You are welcome to hire a cocktail van for the wedding, we have plenty of space for them to set up. There is no corkage fee and all glassware is included by Waldara in your package. We also have bar fridges and cool room on site for your convenience.

Yes of course, We love that Waldara is a stunning blank canvas for you to create the wedding of your dreams. We only ask that there are no permanent fixing to walls and floors, anything you bring with you or put up is taken down and the venue is left as you found it. Otherwise, the sky’s the limit, please add your personal touch!

Waldara has 5 hectares of gorgeous seasonal gardens, beautiful waterways and rugged natural beauty. There are so many special nooks and spaces to explore and utilise for your wedding photos. Your photographer will love Waldara and you’ll have to drag yourselves away from the endless breathtaking photo opportunities so you don’t miss the reception!
