There is nothing more special than being able to have your fur baby attend your ceremony.

We permit them only the ceremony venues, and they must not enter any of the hotel buildings or restaurants.

All animals must be looked after by a carer, on a lead and any mess must be cleaned up immediately.

Charges do apply if any damage or mess is incurred.

All animals must be taken off the premises before the commencement of the reception.

Absolutely! Every outdoor event we do has a wet weather back up alternative. These are chosen based on availability in the hotel.

For ceremonies we make the decision on the day, dependent on the weather forecast.

Your Wedding Coordinator will be able to identify which area will be held for you.

No food or beverages of any kind, other than those provided by the hotel will be permitted onto the hotel’s property without consent of the hotel. We do not permit external catering (other than a wedding cake).

We had a quiet outdoor service with just the two of us at the Hydro. Aurelie, the Conference and Events Coordinator , was very helpful in meeting our needs even though it was such a small event for her to be involved with compared to many she must organise. We were always made to feel that we were important and nothing was too much trouble. On the day all the staff fussed over us and made it a really special day. I’m sure they also organised the beautiful weather on the day! The food and service were excellent as was our room with the majestic view of the valley below.

Perfect location! We were their first wedding and it was the perfect setting and size for us. The building has a lot of Australian history and such stunning views, was a really nice experience. All the staff were really excited being their first wedding, they had a great attitude and it was a great night.

Our dedicated Wedding Coordinator provide by the Hydro, Aurelie, was fantastic, helping guide us from our initial enquiry up until we cut our wedding cake. Aurelie offered great advice and paid meticulous attention to detail ensuring our wedding was everything we wanted. We held our ceremony on the Majestic point Lookout and the view was truly spectacular (we did have a fantastic back-up room inside in case of bad weather) and our reception was held in the Boilerhouse Restaurant - the food was awesome and the service seamless. We had a completely magical, unforgettable day.
