Sunnystones Weddings
OVERVIEW
Sunnystones is a 50 acre property bordering the Long Forest Nature Conservation Reserve. We enjoy uninterrupted views of the forest, including many varieties of wildflowers, mallee trees and box gums.
We have a large space just down the valley from the homestead which is perfect for the ceremony and/or reception. The setup can be customised to your liking, and vehicle access means it is possible for an array of personalised choices!
With some help from some external companies, we can make any part of the property functional, stress free, and most importantly - fun!
The homestead is a large stone building that can accommodate 90 guests and can be broken into two separate wings, including a large dining hall, commercial kitchen, sun room, three fireplaces, nine bathrooms, games room, conversation pit... It just has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Meet Kate & Matt Hope, proud owners of Camp Sunnystones! Kate & Matt have owned & operated the business for over 13 years & have created a warm & welcoming environment for school camps, weddings & events. As two former P.E teachers who love the outdoors, they both have a wealth of knowledge & an ability to always create an inviting atmosphere. It is safe to say they have truly found their passion & created a home away from home on their picturesque property they cannot wait to share with you!

The favoured ceremony space is on the lawn at the homestead, which has stunning views over the valley and the Long Forest. and can be paried up with a marquee or tipi! Another option is having it amongst the gum trees next to the lawn and we also have a dinning room for an inside ceremony or even as a back up plan in the case of bad weather. The property is 50 acres, and has many great vistas and a ceremony can be organised at any space that is suitable.
We are on a large property, but we still need to respect our neighbours, so we have an 11pm limit on loud noise. Under the Environment Protection Act, police have the powers to deal with noise complaints. Failing to comply can result in hefty fines. Our suggestion to couples that want to have the most amount of time celebrating with their family and friends is to begin your day as early as possible. Try for a lunchtime ceremony, this will give you a lot more time to have your photos taken etc and then settle in with your guests!!
We have room for about 100 cars in the car park.
