Banksia Room: Watch the room come to life as your style fuses with this superb space. The Banksia Room features floor-to-ceiling windows, with the added luxury of a private outdoor terrace; it can hold up to 100 guests in banquet style, or 150 in cocktail style.

Waves: Fully equipped with a disco ball and moving lights, Waves is the ideal space to dance the night away. This stylish, private bar sets the perfect backdrop to provide the ultimate party scene. In cocktail style, Waves can fit up to 200 guests.

Ballroom: This spectacular, pillar-less Ballroom is the height of sophistication and style. Set on glorious marble flooring, the Ballroom presents an impressive space and allows for endless styling possibilities. Offering flexible seating arrangements, the Ballroom can accommodate up to 396 guests for a seated dinner or 450 guests in a cocktail set-up.

Our son recently wed his "one true love" and we were fortunate that the bride's family chose to hold the reception at the Intercontinental Adelaide. What a brilliant choice it was! The venue itself looked superb on the night, with outstanding attention to detail. The food was beyond all our expectations and was coupled with excellent service. Emily, our event organiser was a pleasure to deal with, making the whole experience a pleasure. I would highly recommend the Intercontinental Adelaide for hosting any event.

Intercontinental Adelaide went above and beyond to ensure our big day was everything we wanted. The team, particularly the event coordinator, were extremely attentive throughout the entire experience. From the initial conversations to the final big day moments, we were very impressed with the personal service. Even with an extremely busy day within the hotel on our actual wedding day, the team did a fantastic job. Even if very minor matters arose they were resolved promptly. The hotel were flexible in our needs and worked with us to create the most magical day of our lives. When researching venues years ago we had initially enquired with multiple hotels within the CBD however none compared to the personal service of Intercontinental. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for any event.
