I love a good heel because I feel you walk better in them. They do give you a little more poise/improve posture etc. But when you're taller than you're fiance and not too happy about that, I feel your pain. My husband is only a couple of cm taller than me and I didn't want to look much taller on my wedding day so I personally wore flats. With so many gorgeous flats around these days, you can't go wrong. They still look glamorous! You don't want to wear heels and be paranoid all day that you end up slouching! But if you're cool with being taller, then hey! You go for it! So many models and famous actresses don't think twice and look amazing. It's just us regular tall girl folk that spend their lives in flats and kitten heels haha.

It's up to you and your partner, I've seen some brides choose to wear their shoes for their shots alone, then wear flats when next to their h2b! Personally, I feel that height isn't all that important and a photographer can minimise any issues you have with this, and the only time it will be obvious in photos is at the altar- so perhaps opt for flats at the ceremony.
