Ideally you start your lessons as soon as possible, giving you as much time to prepare and feel confident! However we know what it is like planning a wedding and many of our couples come to us last minute! We are experts at teaching couples in a short space of time with personalized notes and videos to make it easy and effortless, so you are in safe hands.
If you have the luxury of time. We normally have your final lesson about a month out from your wedding day and work back having lessons fortnightly from there. Our admin team can guide you on what timeline works best for you and work with our choreographers to ensure we book you in correctly.
There is no right answer here!! Depending on your vision and what you want out of your First Dance will determine how many lessons we would recommend...
For an chic yet relaxed First Dance we suggest one or two lessons.
For a more impressive and confident First Dance we suggest three or four lessons.
For a real wow factor First Dance we suggest six or more lesosns.
For those looking for a budget friendly option or to just test the waters first - we run monthly group Wedding Dance Workshops! You learn all the basics you need for a fabulous First Dance in 90 minute group lesson setting. These are super fun and couples rave about how much they learnt in the session!
1000% YES! Just about all of our couples have no dance experience so we're total experts at teaching total beginners. Many couples choose to our 'One and Only' and 'Good Two Go' package options which still provide you with all the tools you need for an elegant First Dance. Learn how to walk on, how to hold, how to sway, simple footwork, turn and spin combinations, lifts and dips. We teach you everything from start to end, our main goal for you to feel relaxed and confident on the dancefloor. Our bespoke service means that if you have any quetions between lessons you are still able to contact your teacher for clarity on any questions you may have.
Absolutely! We personalise every couple's First Dance around their song choice, how intricate they want it, their dance experience and the time frame they have to learn it within. We listen to all of your requests and together build a First Dance that feels exactly like you.
